This may be the last one for awhile, but I wanted to try my hand at something at a smaller scale. This is a very small arena where the lights act as the scenery. I figured if I had too many objects, it'd simply be too much. Also, just in case the music blips before the battle begins for you, I wanted to show you how it's supposed to look. Hopefully it'll be fun and chaotic whether it's right on tempo or not when you're battling though.

I will give it a shot, and cross my fingers that it doesn't cause a seizure. ;) Queued up.

Remy this looks really really good!! I cannot wait to try this :) My I ask how you achieved the lights being sync'd with the music, I'm assuming you used a sequencer and placed batteries, and timed them with the beats ?

Indeed! Grand Theft Ecstasy completes each measure in roughly 2 seconds each. This was pulled off with a little math and a lot of sequencers, countdown timers, toggles, and rotators. The design of it was extremely simple though, and I created and hooked up the different parts as I made them so that there wouldn't be a massive web to deal with all at once. In its current state, you can't drive along the upper area since it's just designated to provide some depth and nothing more, but if enough people would like me to expand the level, all I have to do is add some ramps or bounce pads and possibly some added scenery (but not too much)! I personally like arenas that are small and chaotic. Cookie Land is one of my favorite battle arenas from Mario Kart for that reason. Heh. Hope you enjoy playing on it when you get around to it!

I really love what you did with the lighting and the custom weapons all worked well. Unfortunately, the lighting is not that noticeable from the kart's perspective. Have you consider using a different camera that would highlight your exceptional lighting better?
