View Full Version : A quick note about the "Site Projects" section...

We have a site projects section with three site projects that sound good in theory- projects that pretty much involve the entire community. However, most of these projects seem to have just been forgotten about, and just... sit there. No other promising projects that involve the community (Aer0blue's Boss Rush Project immediantly sticks out in my mind) seem to have been added to this, despite involving the community.

Basically, the Site Projects section seems to never be used and a bit useless right now, considering there have just been three projects there that have never been expanded upon (and besides, the thermometer seems to have been greatly overestimated with some of their ideas).

So, I have three possible solutions to my uncomfortability:

1. Try and get people interested in these projects, and bring life back to the ones we already have.
2. Add more site projects that would make sense (Again, aer0blue's Boss Rush immediantly sticks out in my mind) to this section
3. Just get rid of that section altogether, since it's never used and we don't seem to have any interest in bringing life back to it, either by reviving the projects we have now or placing more interest in user contests

... Ok, those are merely my thoughts that I have been thinking about, feel free to deal with as you wish. Just had to get this off my chest.

One of the reasons most of those Projects crashed and burned is because they were made before the game came out. The other is because the multiplayer creation patch still isn't out. When that patch comes out, I'm sure that section will have new life.

I think we should just nix that section for now, as we do not really use it much. I'll take care of that right now.
