View Full Version : Trying to recreate "Very Awesome 3D Tool" from LBP2 - Stumped!

Last night, I was on LBP2 and successfully recreated the tool described in the "Very Awesome 3D Tool" thread. I thought to myself, "How cool would this be for Vita?!?" and sacked about to see if I could make it.
However, the original tool required a couple of things which are not available in Vita - a special emitter (the emitter harvested off of the "Oni' from LBP1; attaches like a decal) and the harvested "Sackbot Head" material (LBP2's version takes stickers/decals, Vita's does not).
I managed to get the object working using standard material and emitter, but it will only move within the normal layers. Since there is no equivalent emitter or material in Vita, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it moving freely between all the layers?

I need to give a shout out and a huge thanks to DrunkenFist_Lee for the excellent set of 3D layer tools (http://vita.lbp.me/v/8vdj) he put together for the community to use and enjoy. ;)

this is not how to make it but at least you will have the tools to make what you want

I did find thru the community a controllinator that moves in between the layers -10 to +10 but haven't attatched an emitter to it yet to see if it will emit while in background. Maybe I will this weekend
