View Full Version : Zephyr Station ~ My first LBPKarting Track!

At long last (well okay only a week) I have finally released my first ever LBPKarting track, In addition it is also my first ever creation published and posted here in LBPCentral.. A beginning of something that will hopefully extend further forwards, anyways, on with the track itself!

The track, set admist the vaopurs and facilities of the Zephyr Station, house a purpose built track in the sky, with many twists and turns along the way. The track itself has been refined and made so it can be driven in big sweeping drifts, but only if your brave enough. It also includes custom-built weapon, prize and boost pads, reminiscent of the Wipeout franchise (which is where inspiration of this track comes from, loosely).

Snake, played this this morning and...

First, just, wow...the track looks rockin' good.

Second, it is fast and fun, and i really liked the custom power-up/boost points.

Third...woah...i think the difficulty level is just a touch too rich for my blood. It was all i could do (and to be honest often failed to) keep my kart on the track. If i would suggest anything, it would be to remove the Blue Rocket from the available weapons. Those things are pretty pants at the best of times, but in a rail-lite level like yours it's "whoosh and over the edge!"

Still, i thought it was a lot of fun and quite well done, so good on ya!

Really, really tricky level this one - spent most of my time off-piste!

I'd echo waffle's comment about the blue rockets - nothing but trouble.

A nicely built level, if a tad overly difficult.
