View Full Version : How to create with friends.

LBP Vita is one of those games that is almost perfect, but is let down by a few flaws. One of them is the lack of multiplayer create. Well, that can be solved...with a glitch.

This glitch was discovered by five people (including me) is already rather well documented in this level.

However, some people here might not have played it, so I'll tell you how to do it here:

Step 1: Go to the level you want to create with your friends in.
Step 2: Set the maximum recommended players to 1. Make sure "Block too many players from entering" is not checked.
Step 3: Go into the Vita "Party" application and get your friends to join a party with you.
Step 4: Have you friends join you through the party application (There should be a button on the player that has the LBP Vita logo on it, which will send a join request.
Step 5: Your friends should join you in create mode and not be kicked.

Here's an alternative method for those who don't want to use party chat.

Step 1: Do steps 1 and 2 in the previous method.
Step 2: Save the level and return to pod.
Step 3: Tell you friends you'll send them an invite, and they should wait a few seconds, and then accept it.
Step 4: Send your friends an invite, and right after that load the level.
Step 5: If the timing is right, your friends will join you and not be kicked.

Create mode in LBP Vita is quite a bit like create mode in LBP2, but it's a lot more unstable and buggy, and the game has a high chance of diverging. It's really fun, though.

Hahaha! Nice find guys :D

I actually thought OC was truely impossible on Vita...

One way to possibly reduce the divergences is to let the host do the majority of the editing and rewind as little as possible.
These suggestions are purely speculatuve, but in my experience they should definitely not hurt online stability.

Actually, rewinding doesn't work at all. It just does nothing.
Whether the game diverges or not is completely random, but here are some things that most likely cause it (this is from testing with my friends):

-Doing anything that would cause a divergence in LBP2
-Going into hover mode, not out of it.
-Zooming out too far.
-Going too fast
-Opening the start menu
-and a lot of other stuff

It's very unpredictable.

I saw this in a level i played. Made me very curious. Hope to hear more on what causes diverging and now that we know cocreate is possible hopefully they can hash out those bugs..

Okay, your next task is to exploit some way of doing this in Karting... =O

Nice job, guys. =)
