hey, i just read a few tutorials about gimp and i think i did pretty well with my first production :p

Great job. The only suggestion I have would be to use some different fonts. The site I use is www.dafont.com. Other than that it's great. :)

yeah the written part is the only one i'm not guite happy about
...
i also want it to have a melt look...
well just have to practise with gimp

Don't think A melt look wouldn't fit in this one :/
But yeah that's just my opinion.
I like it... The background looks really good....

Have you thought about making a border around it... Just 1 px with.
Or like code does often: Making 2 horizontal bars on top and bottom.

your sig is also cool...transparent background, gotta remember that tecnique
