View Full Version : Try and predict the LBP3 Levels/Zones.

Something I thought could be little fun is for us is to try to predict what kind of zones or even levels LBP3 may have.

Because at this point we have no idea what kind of storymode we are gonna get... We don't even know if there will be any creator curator characters yet. All we've seen so far mostly is some generic looking levels (Those may just be demo levels) and the 3 new sack-things plus a villein...

Judging from the info, on LBP3 it seems all the levels will take place on a single planet in the story just like it was on LBP1, which probably means the planet will be separated into different themed zones/worlds within the 1 planet...

So let me start. I think some of the zone themes may be...

#1 Introduction zone. Obvious.

#2 Neo garden zone... I get the feeling that the first zone will be a generic nature zone, But i kinda hope not just to say unless they can put a very interesting twist to the concept. This is also where we could meet Swoop.

#3 Country bumpkin town zone. Where we'll maybe meet the villein's hometown.

#4 Old ruins zone. Name is redundant but never mind that. Just some ancient buildings and landscapes. We could meet Toggle here.

Annnnnd... That's about all I can think of at the moment. And as a reminder these ideas I said are just me trying to predict what we may get based after the info we've gotten so far... and are not concepts/worlds/zones I'd personally want, which is a different subject. xD

Regardless go ahead and feel free to predict what worlds/zones you think there may end up being or even just concepts you hope they'll do. :) *mew

In LittleBigPlanet 3, Sackboy is transported to a new planet called Bunkum, a creative paradise where abundant ideas drift through the sky. Unwittingly, Sackboy helps release three mythical creatures called the Titans who aim to ruin Bunkum and transform the world's most unskilled Creator, Newton, into a terrible monster. To restore balance to the land, Sackboy is going to need help in the form of Bunkum's ancient heroes: Toggle, OddSock, and Swoop.

Going on this, with 3 heros (oddsock, swoop and toggle) and 3 titans with Newton as the Villain, I'll say there will be 6 maybe 7 themes. As with past LBP games they will get darker nearer the end.

With Newton being a nod to Isaac Newton, I'm expecting some mathematical puzzles or gameplay set around his Laws of Motion. Maybe that explains the orbs circulating his head in the video.

I'm not sure what themes they'll be based around, but maybe it will progress something like this:

Personally I'm hoping they go with Earth/Air/Water/Fire themes. I'm also hoping that these worlds have creator curators as well as the new playable characters.

Introduction (as with every LBP game)

World 1: Just sackboy gameplay. (Gardens-esque theme)

World 2: Sackboy + Toggle (Water theme to show off Toggle's abilities)

World 3: Sackboy + Oddsock (Earth/Underground theme to show off Oddsock's abilities)

World 4: Sackboy + Swoop (Air/Tree theme to show off Swoop's abilities)

World 5: Sackboy, Toggle, Oddsock and Swoop Cooperating (Fire theme, because things in the game are getting tense)

World 6: Newton's Lair.

I think it'd be killer if they did some sort of pirate ships/islands/coves kinda zone. :)

I hope that there is lots of implementation of 3D (not just for decoration or layer switching) like the toggle racing seen at E3

Toggle land, swoop land SACKBOY land that be cool something like that and they could make the bad guy in story mode take over there lands and you have to fight your way to get them back :)
