I want to see some better hazards added into the game. For me, the addition of Plasma in LBP2 was a bit naff, since it isn't that different from the electric tool. I just want to see some more unique dangers, like ice (queue, "there was an ice tool in the LBP1 Press release" comments") or maybe something that makes an object slippery or spiky?

Just some thoughts, thanks for reading.

(Sorry if something similar has been posted, I read a thread about decorations being able to have hazards maybe? I can't remember sorry)

Theres a glitched material that has the properties of the spike hazard.:)
But yes, some new hazards would be nice, I would like to see the return of the ice hazard personally.

I totally agree. I think it would be pretty neat to have a sludge-type material that swallows up the player in a nice little animation. I'd also welcome ice back. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head, but I'd very much enjoy a larger library of hazards to play with!

I'd would very much like to see what I suppose would be the return of the ice hazard. Additionally I'd also like to have a hazard that upon being touched allows us to cause a death that the creator finds ideal, for example we can vaporize sackboy or liquefy him, turn him into smoke. I'd also like to see acid as a hazard to give us more options.

Ah yes, more hazards would mean more possibilities of course. Seeing Ice return would be nice. I do agree we should have a way to customize the death-sequence such as choosing an animation along with sound effect as well as other visuals. Having more options is always better. Especially for the other new characters as well. Oh, I feel evil...

I agree with ice and sludge - both of those sound great. I'd want to see, if we get proper water physics/materials, a dangerous liquid. Or just a tool to make water dangerous. A hazard that has natural physics like that would work perfectly in some levels, whether they opened a door that causes them to be chased by lava, or just acid rain.

Water Hazards, Turned to Stone Hazard (Maybe you have a medusa boss level, and your stone statue crumbles when you respawn), Pancake Hazard/death animation (For items that can smash you), Better fire death (Maybe you run around on fire for a few seconds).

Yeah the ice hazard looked cool. Don't know why it was removed :(

You can always do those physical limitation with sackbots and a little bit of logic implementation, but I agree that it would be easier if they were just materials.

ZNBJ also brings up a good point. Dynamic semi-hazards would be a fun thing to play around with. Things like molasses that slow the player down, quicksand that slowly swallows up the player, or whatever other things could be thought of. They could be hazards that are escapable, yet could eventually result in player death in one way or another.

Of course, these effects could be generated with the create tools, but developer-made animations always look cooler. ;]

I agree that there should be more ways to murder- I mean spook sackpeople that are growing strange formations of teeth upon their heads. Maybe acid can be one of the new hazards.
