This would be awesome! Or even just if you set the sackbot to sackboy then it can swim. I'm sure there will be big improvements on sackbots anyway.

I'm not sure if the game engine could handle such advanced feature. Maybe if it were on PS4 exclusive...

That's why I sometimes feel it should have been PS4 exclusive. They've had to bring some things down so the PS3 can handle it.

I'd say it's more than likely that they will include some way of making a sackbot look like it's swimming if swimming sackbot's aren't already included.

That'd be so good for aqua based levels

I hope they at least make a waterproof option.

Yeah, I think it would have been better as a PS4 exclusive as well but then again at least we can still enjoy playing with ps3 friends... I guess there's always a tradeoff u_u

A feature like this might be even less feasible in LBP3 because of the 3 new characters that will have to have swimming and water to sackboy physics implemented

that is at least 3 times more data, so sadly, it might not happen

I think many people wished for a PS4 exclusive but the most money-making deal always wins. Just imagine the reduced sells..

Well the devs did state that they have taken notice of some of the glitches that gamers have exploited and used in levels, and will try to add these things in the game. Hopefully this is one of them.

This is one feature I wish was possible.

Would probably make water levels more fun.

You all saw sackboy swimming in the air on that gameplay trailer right?

Well anything reduced will mean improved framerate for the PS4, also for anyone that has played on PC, they know that there are independant options for different users, maybe something like that will come to PS4 where graphics and framerate for PS4 are much more improved than for PS3, so there is still benefits for having it on PS4 (like touchpad :3)

Many users have stated that a 30fps framerate is essential for backwards compatibility of some logic. These are the advance logic creators so I wouldn't argue with them. (I have little idea how it would actually effect the game myself)

It's inevitable that some levels will make your PS3 cry louder than a whale (these levels already exist on LBP2) but I'd assume that the PS4 will be able to handle the additional stress. So in theory and you could still build PS4 specific levels.

If I recall correctly, the sackbots couldn't move because of the anti gravity tweaker needs a dampening of 100%
I could be thinking of something else but I'm pretty sure I saw that a long time ago.

Nope these are broken sackbots that came with an update.

If you remember back when LBP2 had an update and the sackbots were forced out of controlinators & it broke a lot of people's levels, those sackbots that were forced out they had an immunity to water since I guess a piece of them was left inside the controlinator.

Upside, sackbots in water act like a normal sackboy, with added bonus of being able to use powerups underwater.
Downside, sackbot falls through everything so you need logic to keep it from falling through map(which the level uses/gives away)
