HUD layer. Layer is always visible on your screen. All objects place behind this layer.
For shooters.

Having an official tool for that would be nice. It could be used for more than just shooters of course.

Id like this to be able to cater to the camera angle. Many of my levels make use of a top down, slightly angled in camera for an almost behind the back view and huds always have to stay straight up and down so it looks weird...

It's possible to work around that somewhat. I've got a mock-up of a camera tilting down with a few bars and a sticker that look like they're straight. The bars I manually tweaked, the sticker I took with a camera tilting up, so the angles cancel each other out.

Not that I wouldn't like a HUD layer or tool, of course. :)
