In LBP3, I'm going to fill up my 20 lvls with my own story, mini-games included.
The main villain will be Professor Glitch, who uses glitches to sap the creativity and fun out of Craftworld, and has 3 agents, who have yet to be named. I was wondering if anybody could help me with ideas for the levels,mini-games,prizes and such.

Thank You! :)

That's a really good idea!
I'll be glad to help you with it, and I'm sure it'll turn out great :)

I am a sucker for user-generated "Story Levels", so I'm excited to see what you come up with.

Like chronos, I also love playing story levels people come up with. Not only are they fun to play, but I've always loved seeing the stories people come up with. I would play this without hesitation :)

I tried to do a similar thing back in LBP1, I was obviously very young so the levels weren't actually that good... Well, I say levels, I stopped after 1. If you want to "borrow" some of my themes It was set underwater - in the ocean - and the curator (which was created in the style of LBP1 curators) was a Narwhale called Hydra. I basically just gave away the unused/hidden stickers and materials in the story mode. I don't know if any of this helps.

My best suggestions are to look at the similarities/patterns between LBP3's story levels, follow the trend but add a new flavor to it. Introduce a new gadget/gimmick/logic tool not shown off in the official story because the story mode often acts as an extended playable tutorial for things like power-ups, etc. so I'd encourage you to maybe create your own power-up (using the new tool) that would play a role in your levels. And lastly, survival challenges... Endless survival challenges! http://i.imgur.com/rqx89Fm.png

Not trying to be rude or anything but trust me, you wont just need help with ideas but to build it would take more than half a year if you do it alone, even with help 20 levels will take forever. Take my advice and make it smaller, like the move-pack for example. One storymode-quality level alone is hard to make.

I have failed with doing this type of thing over and over. At least shorten it down.

I did this in LBP2, it is still an on going project (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?90458-Danto-Saga). One issue with these types of projects are they require a lot of commitment, I have even moved to a second account to finish the story as the story grow as I was making so have a clear plan off what your going to do when you do it. Real life ultimately has slowed down my series however I am determined to finish it and also remake the first 5 and the 9th level. Anyway I wish you the best of luck and when I get the game I will be sure to keep an eye out for it

Yeah, shortening the story up does sound like a better idea.
Thanks! :)

I also had an idea like this which later on became The Search For Victoria. Just make sure you give the story some depth and detail as well as also ensuring that each level is unique and different. Looking forward to it!
