View Full Version : Sackboy Capture Tool aka Clone

You would use this tool over sackboy and it would capture his position and appearance. It would then create an object out of sponge material that looks exactly like sackboy. Currently this is done by taking a photo, placing it on material and then corner editing the material to the correct size. This is very time consuming and it would seem that a clone tool would be able to do it better and with far less effort.

Perhaps it could even make a sort of ragdoll of your customised Sackboy for you to position in your level?
Then you could place it, tweak its appearance and pose, even make it properly 'speak', instead of a magic mouth.

That would be even better!

Something else that would be cool is if you could do an animation loop. Basically have it record a motion (such as moving arms, waist and head) and have the ragdoll do that in a loop. I don't know how processor intensive the ragdoll stuff is though, which is why my initial suggestion was just for the static cloner. Anything extra is definitely even better!
