View Full Version : Sackboy/Sackbot HP Meter. (The Advanced Counter)

Ok before I go into this, I know this is already possible in LBP2. Itís just something I thought about while reading about all the new tools making everything more simple and easy.

The Advanced Counter/HP METER is essentially a counter with more ways to make it become full. It has all the options of a regular counter plus a option for tags. The tags act like interval outputs. For example: Letís say you want to make a RPG/Fighting/platformer hybrid. and you want it to be fast paced and full of combat. 3 characters have unique stats:
- Character A being stongest putting out like 30 damage with 1 swipe
- Character B being in the middle so 15 damage with 1 punch
- Character C is weakest which only puts out 10.
and you have an enemy with like 60 HP. Now Letís say this particular player refuses to experiment any further and wants a simple way to just use 1 counter, and a destroy tweaker that every character uses but does there right stat of damage. So you take out the Advanced Counter/HP METER. and go down to the Tags option. select the number of tag inputs you want. whether you want them to be impact or sensed. change there color, name etc. THEN set the amount of damage each certain tag does. When the enemy is hit by a certain tag now, his health lowers by that interval of damage you set the tag to do.
- Character A takes him out in 2 hits
- Character B takes him out in 4 hits
- and Character C takes him out in 6 hits

Ah. That's a better way of putting it. I had a hard time explaining it :hero:
