View Full Version : Zero Gravity actually being Zero Gravity

So hello everyone, I would like to make a point that this is my first post on this forum (despite playing all lbp games religiously)

One thing that always was an annoyance in LBP2 was that zero gravity was never actually zero G. It was always just low gravity. With the next big installment on its way, actual zero G would open up endless new doors to create. Imagine legitimate space levels. Also you could essentially change the orientation of levels by using the new logic added to act as the gravitational force.

I think this is something that seriously needs to be put in the game, or at least at some point patched in. What do you guys think? Feel free to comment below!

Given the few bits of top-down gameplay we've already seen, I would imagine that it works this way. Therefore, you should be able to turn off gravity.

Actually. There's an anti-gravity tweaker that you can put on objects that makes those objects have real zero gravity.

The only thing it can't be put on is the actual player. If you put it on a sackbot, it is real zero gravity. If you put it on an object, it is real zero gravity. With the logic sender in LBP3, you'd be able to send that real zero Gravity to the player.

you can do that alredy it just as for a sack bot and a few other stuff
but i do not being a game dev my self why we shud do this if ppl harly use this eney ways if ther not a dumand for it i donot think adding a tool like that wuld benifit eney one at this point in time

It might me useful, but considering the logic you can use to easily mimic something like that, it probably isn't necessary.
