Simple really. I don't need to go into great detail but I find it odd that the walking animations require you to use a follower or a mover. Wouldn't it makes sense for the walking animations to actually make sackboy/sackbots walk?

Animations are separate from code in games so you can have a character playing an animation without it actually doing anything. It's just more work for the developers when we can make it so easily.

The walking animation if automatically moved would prevent some stuff from being do-able. Additionally it could potentially create some glitches. For example if the code were to script characters to walk in the direction of the animation playing it may unalign the characters from the layers that are set in place because we can now rotate characters.

I understand what you mean if it were simple platforming or such but levels that take full advantage of the logic tools would break some things and stop creators from doing what they want to do. So simply, I think it should. :)
