Hiya all!

Earlier this year, my nieces made this awesome thing:

I've been carrying it around and taking video ...

... and mocking it up in various games ...

The goal is a collage of clips for a music video, which I will give my nieces at Christmas.

Sort of a "here's how much I love this thing" tribute.

That's all! Or is it?

Here's more explanationism-ism:

I'm getting the PS4 any day now (ANY DAY NOOOOWWWW)

and intend to mock up this dog in LBP.

Fun, right? Right? It's perfect for a cute tumble down some video game stairs, if nothing else. ^v^

This post isn't *just* to announce this, but to invite your collaboration. Even ask for HELP!

In addition to mocking up the dog, I want to share him (her?) around for others to do the same.

The PS4's easy recording capabilities make it ideal, though it could be (and is being done) in lots of formats.

Regrettably, my nieces have no game consoles. They live in another country. I can't guarantee they'll get to play actual levels.

So I'm casually limited to video. Casually, but with dozens or even hundreds of hours (and dollars!) invested.

Anyway.

These steps don't have to be in the order I first planned!

My plan was: Buy PS4. Buy LBP3. Mock up dog. Share it. Invite others.

But why wait? Everyone with a PS4 is way ahead of me!

If you have the inclination or inspiration, go for it! Post a video. Take pictures.

I'd love to see what you do.

I'll keep posting here, though it will be every medium EXCEPT LBP until, you know, I get the PS4.

If that makes this an inappropriate topic, please relocate it. I understand!

Thanks for reading, enjoy, and ask me anything. ^v^

Best to all,

RB (squaredog)

This was cute so I thought I'd have an attempt.
There are a lot of complicated shapes, though, so a really accurate recreation is tough.

I'm sure that there's a button decoration that can have it's colour changed that's a better fit, but for the life of me I can't find it.

That is AWESOME! You got the texture and the little feets and everything! :) :) :)

Some other multimedia stuff that's coming together.

This project took about 4 hours of filming in the park, and another several days of editing.

Lots of experimenting and failure. Been in storyboarding for weeks!

Video render failed as I type so here's some screenshots for now. :)

Got the video up! May revise some, but I'm digging the sloppy silly factor.
