Note: Here below is the pure text version of the contest in case anybody has trouble reading the fancy poster.

ZHAHA-Haaa! Greetings to all you clueless sad sacks!

Yes, “YOU” sitting in front of the screen zoning out like a zombie! Behold and let yourself get lured into this magnificent dark contest of silly terror! Crush your foes! Kidnap a princess or prince! Get revenge! Wield mass weapons of chaos! Cheat! Gather loyal minions! Take over or even destroy a world! Plunder free Wifi!!! Be the bad guy for once! You get the idea yet, gummy-worm? In this contest the villain WINS!

Little ol' me, “The dark overlord of this contest,” wants you to craft a small story based adventure staring a villain main character! Pretty bad to the bone concept wouldn‘t you say? Just remember to add (Evilventure01) on the beginning of the level title. So get out your freeze rays, buzzsaw swords, nacho cheese powered doom missiles and prepare to get to work! …But wait! Not so fast… We have more important information to cover first before anybody gets started, you goofy impatient scamps! You’ll be needing some inspiration and knowledge of the rules before you enter… And the real reason you are here… which is super critical, what the grand prize is!

Lets get to it! You want to know what the prize is right?! Don’t be shy… nothing wrong with being little greedy… Most of us need that extra incentive to make putting work into anything worth our time and effort obviously. However forget cheap plastic trophies! Who really needs those things? I got something much better for you. Cabbage. Greenbacks.. Dough… Loot…. Money!!! That’z right! The winner, winner chicken dinner of this criminally fun contest gets a cash prize! How much am I talking here? I hear the sparks from the back of your skulls forming to say? Hohoo! Definitely not something dull such as a cheap game store gift card… or whatever else somebody might dig quickly out of their pocket… Nope! No-way! Drum roll please! The winner will get…. A sweet $100! You heard me right! Not $1. Not $10... Yes! 100 dollars! One hundred big ones! Sounds nice yeah? Well here’s the deal! You want it? Then you just gotta win! Because only 1st place gets a prize… and nobody else. So make sure to work hard for it! Furthermore, more importantly remember to have fun fuun on a bun buun!

Bonus prize! The winner will also receive a rare LBP Cap prize! Which means after the contest is over the winner can go drive around in their monster truck of terror in style with this fine cap on their noggin!

Next we dig over into inspiration and themes for the contest. Fun villain ideas I hear you ask? What is a good design or bad design for them? How do you make them awesome? While it’s not my job to make your ideas for you… however let me help guide you onto the right path with examples of great villain characters.

Aku.
Run and hide your extra T H I C K pizzas! Here comes the Master of Masters, the Deliverer of Darkness, the Shogun of Sorrow…, a evil darkness incarnate tyrant! Rules over the world with a iron fist. Shape-shifts and can easily fool his enemies! If he can’t kill you now, he’ll instead send you to another time period! Beware of “Aku!”

Bowser.
No castle has strong enough defenses to stop this oversized dragon turtle king from stealing your princesses! The flaming dangerous villain who wants to takeover everything and commends a army of weirdoes... And sometimes goes golfing or kart racing on the weekends with his enemies. Watch out for “Bowser!”

Darth Vader.
The dark side is always cooler! Don’t recklessly call any stranger “emo” on a online forum as they might just be a Sith lord and psychic choke you. He also might be your secret father... or 3rd cousin 2 times removed, who knows! All you need to know is he has a fancy flashy red energy sword and cool edgy black samurai armor! It’s nobody other then. “Darth Vader!”

Dr.Eggman Robotnik.
Who doesn’t love goofy robots, machines, and amusement parks built in their own likeness? He’s a super genius mad scientist man-child. Don’t stand in the way of his eggcellent dreams… especially if you are a obnoxious hippie nature loving rodent! He’ll capture and stuff you inside one of his bots! He’s no yolk, he is “Dr.Eggman Robotnik!”

GLaDOS.
There is nothing more pure hearted and beautiful then a robot queen wouldn’t you say? She might be Sarcastic… Sadistic… Narcissistic… Insane… Okay seriously she might just be pretty evil! But hey now can you blame her? Tormenting inferior simpletons with various puzzles and lab tests is in truth really fun! The cake may be a lie, but she isn’t!…probably… Behold she is the digital-delicious “GLaDOS!”

Invader Zim.
What happens when a villain is so obnoxious where even their own invader kin don’t want them? Obviously he tries to get their respect with force by taking over a world! And if that fails… he’ll just take a break and order cheap takeout chicken while relaxing to some brainless TV with his totally nuts robot minion… Welcome to the day by day insanely goofy misadventures of “Invader Zim!”

Joker.
Maniacal laugher! Everybody loves a bad joke right? HAHA how about a killer practical joke… emphases on the word “KILL” while we are at it?! Always smiling and will always know how to leave you with a smile in the end! Do you have a fear of clowns?! Sorry you can’t run from fun! The “Joker!” is in town!

Lord Dominator.
Dominates and conquers everything and everybody with style! Being a master bully she teaches those annoying do-gooders and other losers out there how much better she is! She knows more then most villains how fun it is to destroy stuff just for the amusement of it! You better find a new dimension to call home soon, because no world is safe from “Lord Dominator!”

Risky Boots.
Yoho! A pirate’s life for me! Who doesn’t want to be a pirate? Adventure! Plundering every booty! Legendary Power! Wearing a big goofy hat! Lackeys! Quirky battleships! Throwing rules and boring people overboard! This bad sexy girl will wear her defeated enemies skeletons as a outfit accessory. She really loves shiny things... She be the nefarious pirate queen “Risky Boots!”

Xenomorph.
Or perhaps a direct monster is more your style? Creeping in the darkness… Making spaceships into their den. Feeding people to it’s young… This plague like family of monsters are strong and are built to wipe everybody out! I also hear they are amazing French kissers! Bursting into the scene is a “Xenomorph!”

Inspired yet?! YOU BETTER BE! Whether you make a original villain or choose to create a fanfic using villains you enjoy from elsewhere… What matters in the end is I want you to bring the best ideas you can conjure up and impress me, the dark overlord like there is no tomorrow! …What else should you be doing? To elaborate further. It’s your duty in this contest to make a villain character story based adventure with boatloads of fantasy/science-fiction elements. This requires a focus on everything! Character design! Story writing! Art skill! Fun unique game-play! Absolutely NOTHING should be skipped for your project!

Lastly here come the rules! …I know what you might be thinking…
“But bad guys don‘t follow any lame o rules! Bla blaa bla!”
Stop right there! Don’t be dim! Of course there are rules that you MUST follow! This is a contest… Not some random smelly charity! Remember if you want to win… then it is YOUR JOB to entertain me correctly and thoroughly. Now lets proceed to finally crack open the rule vault!

Rule#1: This contest is for LBP3 ONLY. No other LBP games allowed.

Rule#2: You must have a paypal account available. Because I’m not going to mail you the bloody money in a envelope if you win… If you don’t have paypal then I’ll have to give it to somebody else. Deal with it.

Rule#3: The ending date. You are required to have your game project fully completed and published before (February 1st 2018.) The first month of the year is the time all projects for the contest will be judged. Attention! Do not forget to start the title of your level with (Evilventure01) this allows the dark overlord to both find and know your level is actually apart of the contest! Be ready and no lollygagging!

Rule#4: Teams are allowed, but not required! It’s understandable not everybody is good at everything and will need help from partners… But note that only one person will be sent the prize money. So it’s up to the person who entered and won the contest what to do with the money.

Rule#5: Story is required and not a suggestion! I won’t be a happy overlord if I see a adventure with basically nothing or a half baked story. It can be a original story full for your own characters, or it can be a fanfic based on any other known media that fits the requirements of the contest. As a important note, “Bonus-Points” will go to anybody who can make a memorable highly likeable original story/characters. However making a fanfic won’t really lower your chances much if it’s good. So either way don’t slack off!

Rule#6: Quality over quantity! You are allowed to make as many levels as you desire for your adventure… However, DO NOT FORGET the quality of your work is what will be judged. Even a single great level will rip apart without mercy a ton of quickly poorly made levels. So it’s advised to streamline your adventure as much as possible without hurting the concepts. And while on this subject… No filler you hear me?! Even if the adventure has side-quests/mini-games make sure everything is well crafted and feels like a meaningful part of the whole adventure and not a terrible waste of time. So make sure everything is engaging or else!

Rule#7: I demand at least 20 minutes out of your game! As a companion to the other quality rule, I feel this quality time length rule is needed so every adventure gives a full experience and isn’t a super short joke. This shouldn’t be asking for to much considering your project should have BOTH story AND gameplay to fill the time. Furthermore while it’s not required, but it would be wise to keep the game under a hour.

Rule#8: No player or default sack character as any character in your adventure… I’d sooner stab myself with a holy sword then I would allow that! JUST NO! Give all your main characters real designs! The moment I see a default sack character as the main character is the moment the level is disqualified from the contest! You are allowed to use customized Sackdoll, Toggle, Oddsock, Swoop or crafted/drawn stuff as characters.

Rule#9: Not just any game-play will do the job. I DO NOT want to see generic run, jump and swing to win levels that offer nothing else. Nor do I want to see any walking simulator/art gallery, first person view, move-controller or fully automated games. Seriously you bums can do better then that! As a huge hint, stop looking at average LBP community levels for inspiration and look at more unique levels and even real games outside of LBP for ideas... Spend some time coming up with your own ideas. Be unique! Make it fun! Really make the player feel like they are controlling a wacky villain for evil‘s sake!

Rule#10: The villain main character must be allowed to win and must not be turned into a hero by the end of the story. This should be obvious… but this is not a hero contest! So don’t make me come over there and slap you! I do not want to see you cheating with trying to figure out a way to make the character actually a hero. However a exception I will allow is if you want to write a story about a hero that turns into a villain. Also allowed is if you want a ending where the villain main character loses in the story… but only as a multiple ending if you do it. Remember at least 1 ending must allow them to succeed in their goal.

That’s the end of the rules. However as a final note about the contest. If you are feeling extra spicy evil, then be a epic partner in crime and spread the word of the contest to your friends, rivals, lackeys, pets, inanimate objects and everywhere else reasonable that you can! HA! Because what’s a fun engaging contest without little real competition to crush right? So lets make this the best bad time for everybody!

Get out there. Let no weakling stand in your way. And go create something despicably amazing!

Lastly here is the straight to the point summary of the contest.

Here is the straight to the point summary of the contest.

This is a villain adventure themed LBP3 level contest. The goal of this contest is for all contestants to create a evil story focused adventure game of one or more levels in LBP3 with a villain main character.

The grand prize is $100. And a bonus rare LBP cap prize! Only one person can win.

The rules are the following.

Rule#1: LittleBigPlanet-3 Only.

Rule#2: You must have a paypal account available if you want a chance of being sent the prize money.

Rule#3: The final date for all contest level entries to be published is (February 1st 2018.) Also required is to include (Evilventure01) in your level/adventure’s title in order for it to be officially entered.

Rule#4: Teammates are allowed, but not required. Only one person will be sent the prize money regardless.

Rule#5: Storytelling is required and not a suggestion. Do not skip out on including a real story in your adventure. Both original stories and fan-fiction are allowed.

Rule#6: Quality over quantity. You are allowed to make any number of levels you desire for your adventure… However just remember the overall quality of your whole work is what will be judged.

Rule#7: Your game needs to at least last 20 minutes. This shouldn’t be hard because your project should have BOTH story AND gameplay to fill the time. Furthermore try to keep the whole game under a hour.

Rule#8: Absolutely no player’s default sack character allowed as any character in the adventure. Do your best to make real characters. You are allowed to use customized Sackdoll/Bot, Toggle, Oddsock, Swoop or crafted/drawn stuff as characters.

Rule#9: Not just any gameplay is acceptable. Try hard to offer a far more unique experience then a generic “run, jump and swing to win!” level that offers nothing else. Also don’t do any of the following, a walking simulator/art gallery, first person view, move-controller or fully automated game. Aim to make your project closer to a real adventure game. Really make the player feel they are playing a wacky villain character.

Rule#10: The villain main character must be allowed to win and must not be turned into a hero by the end of the story. As a reminder this is not a hero contest. However as exceptions you are allowed to write a hero who turns into a villain, and the villain main character is also allowed lose, but only as a alternate ending.

That is all the rules. But as a final note. If you feel up to the task, then be a partner in crime and spread the word of the contest to help make this event more exciting for everybody! And remember to have fun!

You had me until rule 8. I like the idea of the players Sackthing being the main character in stories. Rather than having the level author foist a character upon the player.
I've wanted to do something fitting your theme for ages, but I always wrote it as the players Sackthing interacting with my own cast.

I'd suggest giving it a shot anyways. It never hurts to try new things! In fact I wanted this contest to make players try stuff outside of their normal comfort zone in LBP.

Personally I never been much into self insert games and prefer to play games such as Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper as a example. I like to see the lives/adventures of fictional characters and for myself to have nothing to do with it... It's kinda one of the main focus of this contest.

YES and YES! I was actually going to do a project just like this. So what timing.

1 question. Can the PLAYER be the "good guy" and the villian be the one that chases him. However, the player LOSES in the end (as you have said) and the VILLIAN wins.

- - - - - - - - - -

Though I am wary of the 20 minimium contestants. Even the Water Splash SITE contest got only 18 contestants! And that got 4,203 views .

Judging by the views in community contests, the average is about 400-600. Only the big ones, 1000+ and 2000+

What I'm just saying is, that I don't want to put all the time and effort into a contest; if it doesn't even end up happening in the first place............

The information does cover the fact the Villain main character should be the player controlled character. This was done because the normal results from people often is them wanting to make the main character a hero in stories. Which to me is not people challenging themselves enough to make abnormal main characters...

But tell you what... I'd advise against it, but I'll somewhat allow your suggestion regardless that it goes little against the theme of the contest. Just keep in mind the farther somebody's project goes away from the true intentions of the contest, the worse my opinion will be of the project... Meaning they'll have to work harder in other ways to impress me then normal.

I'm not actually sitting around doing nothing, I'm advertising my contest on twitter and more places soon. Believe me I don't want this contest to flop either. I say don't worry about the outcome of the contest to overly much, and make your level something YOU can take pride in and enjoy yourself. The themes of my contest should be used as inspiration for you more then anything... Similar to how LBPC's first LBP2 contest theme inspired one of my game series I work on PC now.

However I will do my best to see to that this contest happens. A contest with hardly anybody entering it misses the point and isn't very entertaining to me.

I quite like this contest idea and the time frame allowed. Also really enjoy the debate between sack boy or no. I think I ultimately side with the contest creator simply because the sack boy hero /character trope has been done to death in levels. I might enter this one.

A lot of effort went in to this and it would be a real shame to see it wither away in silence. Having said that, realistically, there is little hope for this contest unless things in it are changed. In general community contests often receives only a couple of entries and there are many reasons for this. Just the idea of having your hard work judged by only one person is a bit discouraging and this is why community contests have few restrictions and only stick to one theme, which your contest does but the restrictions are too many and too nit-picky. The biggest reason to why this will end up in a flop is the 20 minimum entry restriction. I'm not trying to sound negative here but you must realize when you combine all the rules, restrictions and the minimum entry limit the odds of 20 people joining are extremely low. Even the generous price does not outweigh all the negatives. Although I I completely understand the reasoning behind it, I'd recommend you to remove the minimum entry limit and maybe lower the price handout if you're too uncomfortable to give money away. This ensures some safety for the creators, that they will get rewarded for their hard work despite the lack of participants. I hope you don't find this offensive because I only want to see this contest in it's full glory.

I agree with the removing of the person entry requirement. I'm still debating if I'm going to create for this contest specifically or not. It really depends on how my level starts turning out. I'm going to probably start creating next week since my schedule just got 18+ more hours every week free.

Yoohoho hoo! OK, ALRIGHT! No need to break all me bones over such a tiny detail! That part of the info is now gone, so check it out! Your welcome!

Bonus time! I added a extra prize to the contest! A rare LBP cap! More prizes is always better am I right my fiends?

Furthermore I totally pushed the final publishing date for all contestants back by 1 month! The final publishing date now is "February 1st 2018.' I thought it was fair considering the new info change and how busy humans can be this time of year... However I won't be changing that again! This is the final deadline date... so live with it yo! ;o)

Also as a good reminder... No more complaining about the rules ya hear me mateys?! I didn’t create this contest just to do another normal contest. I created this contest with something to say… Peps should push over their ordinary limits and do something different from normal in LBP... also for me to run a contest my way ya know? there’s no good reason just to do it like nearly everybody else would… Honestly it disappoints me how very rarely people focus on character and story on LBP… which has always been more of my fave subject in games, which often gets passed up on a lot in this game series… LBP isn’t Mario Maker righto? LBP gives players the tools to do so much more then random obstacle courses and mini-games… LBP3 even tried to give us the tools to make more adventure focused levels. Go big or go home! Just like any true cartoon villain would say... I rather fail then settle for less! Yoho hoo!

BTW I'm not done promoting this contest yet! I still got few tricks up my mysterious spooky sleeves. ;'D
And good luck folkz!

Yay, thanks! Also with that extra prize I'm definitely at least going to try (i already was going to, but it was more dependent on which level i would enter). I'm cool with the date change. sounds good to me.

I would actually respectfully disagree. I think this contest is something that is really new. And I agree with Lord-Dreamerz. We do need to start creating contests that are more story and character based. I like the complexity of this contest, and it will prove well for people who really want to test their skills. Also, having several months to finish your level will give people time to really polish their levels and have friends/players test their levels to perfection. I can imagine a really good 20 entries are going to come out by February 1st. Regardless of whether you are the judge or not, I think we are all going to enjoy playing these entries.

This sounds like a really interesting contest! And I totally agree that story and characters are really lacking from the community. Some nice restrictions / contest boundaries hopefully will result in higher quality entries! Looking forward to seeing what people creator and I really hope there are quite a few entries! Plenty of time to go though. So good luck everyone!

on a side note, the "Evilventure01" tag to signify entry. I would suggest shortening it. As both in game and through lbp.me I have found that the search is still not very good and lengthy search terms tend to just not show results sometimes even if they have the exact typed word /phrase in.

Well this contest is interesting. My schedule is full though.

LBP3 has enough tools to create a cool adventure with a deep story and cool characters. Actually I am working on something that should be a little bit unique. If it was about a villain and if I was faster creating levels I could actually join.

Good luck for everyone who plans on joining this content.

Alrighty then… So it has come to THIS has it now? Can’t say that I’m not disappointed. I didn’t expect things to turn out this BAD. I am not pleased.

If you haven’t figured it already! There utterly straight up was not even “1” lone entry for my contest… Not a single soul bothered to make a level in the end. I made sure to thoroughly check everywhere I could just to be sure and there was just flat-out nothing. Whoo just wow! What a waste of my time and effort...

Yes it’s totally past the final publishing date for the contest now. Obviously extending the end date would not help either… clearly from the absolute lack of discussion for the contest. Which means this is the end of the line… THE CONTEST IS CANCELED! It’s dead.. The door is locked and closed.

So is this it? Will nothing ever come out of the epic villain contest? For now NOPE! However I will consider “restarting” the contest in the future… I put to much work into it just to throw it away completely. If I do restart it... maybe I’ll change a few things, make some of the rules bit less limiting and simplify things somewhat… perhaps I’ll do FAR better advertising next time, a promo video, weekly inspiration updates, a villain theme level of my own before I start the contest to set a fun example for others. possibly a better prize… Or maybe I’ll re·brand the contest for the game “Dreams” …assuming it becomes popular whatsoever and I actually end up buying a PS4. Who knows honestly! I’ll think about it later on. For now I'll be moving onto other stuff I prefer to focus on.

Sweet friendly nightmares to you all. And hope for a fun silly evil time in the future!

I'm very tempted to just say I told you so but it might be seen as offensive, so I will add a bit more. If you read my old post this is exactly what I predicted and I even included the major reasons as to why...

I personally looked forward to see some levels emerging from this. It's weird how not even "simple" entries where submitted considering the money prize. I wish you the best of luck in reviving this! :)

Hopefully another approach will get the entries flooding in.

And I was VERY tempted to include on my last post for nobody to blame my contest for having to many rules as the problem. Because that's not what happened I can promise you. But after thinking about It I decided not to say that because I assumed anybody reading would have better attitude then that. Also your old post was mostly whining about the 20 person limit which was removed ages ago anyways. The rest of the rules basically where just there to keep people correctly on theme and not just making whatever the hell they wanted while pretending it was correct with the spirit of the contest. I have ZERO interest in people making something with almost no limit. That is NOT how a cool contest is made. Some real creative content is born from limitations.

I have ZERO interest in people making something with almost no limit. That is NOT how a cool contest is made. Some real creative content is born from limitations.

Well, you definitely sound offended, which I was trying to avoid by kindly expressing myself while getting the main point through. My old post was not "whining" about anything. I was giving you constructive feedback regarding your community contest and sharing my own opinion on it - which is backed by personal experience and logical thinking. You seem to be neglecting the actual reason as to why the contest ended up as it did. It's still mainly because of the nit-picky restrictions and I can go through the major ones so you can get that in your head.

I will begin by shedding some light on community contests in general so that you can understand why your overly nit-picky restrictions adds to an already bad situation. Community contests only receives a couple of entries in most cases, it's nothing like officially promoted contests and there are many reasons for this. The lack of judges is one reason because with one individual judging, the chances are high that personal interests goes before an overall fair assessment. A team of judges reduces the likelihood of this. You can always say that you judge fairly but that statement is in itself biased if it comes from your own mouth. I speak as a creator when I say that I don't trust one person judging my level among others and I'm pretty sure that others agree, with exceptions. I can write a wall of text with more reasons but I don't have time for that right now so you'll have to settle with that.

Now on to your restrictions and why they drastically reduce the number ofpotential entries to the point where it becomes crippling for the contest!

Rule 5: Storytelling is required and not a suggestion. Do not skip out on including a real story in your adventure. Both original stories and fan-fiction are allowed. This is not so bad as it adds flavor to the contest but this shouldn't be a rule, it should be optional and give creators more points if they do decide to add a story.

Rule 7: Your game needs to at least last 20 minutes. This shouldn’t be hard because your project should have BOTH story AND gameplay to fill the time. Furthermore try to keep the whole game under a hour. It's very unnecessary to add a minimum time limit because it gives the impression that you don't trust the creators to make a level with an acceptable lengtht, so you add this rule to make sure that absolutely no entry is shorter than that. This is no advantage in adding this rule, you let your personal conflicts get ahead of logical thinking.

Rule 8: Absolutely no player’s default sack character allowed as any character in the adventure. Do your best to make real characters. You are allowed to use customized Sackdoll/Bot, Toggle, Oddsock, Swoop or crafted/drawn stuff as characters. Another badly configured rule because in normal cases only certain characters are excluded but in this case you exclude all characters if they are of default nature.

Rule 9: Not just any gameplay is acceptable. Too high expectations, especially for community contest entries. This shouldn't even be a rule.

Rule 10: The villain main character must be allowed to win and must not be turned into a hero by the end of the story. As a reminder this is not a hero contest. However as exceptions you are allowed to write a hero who turns into a villain, and the villain main character is also allowed lose, but only as a alternate ending. Another stupid rule, why not let creators decide all this by themselves. The contest can still be about villains but at least let the creators decide the fate of the villain. Ignoring the alternate ending option - which in most cases take a lot of time and effort to implement, this rule really affects how a person can write a story, it's just becomes a story on fixed rails.

An official contest can get away with some of these rules but for a community contest, it's extremely exaggerated! There are people who won't bother to even read all these overly nit-picky and long rules, Your have a complete warped and enclosed vision of how a contest should look like. Try again and do it correctly next time. I'm not here to bash you, I'm only helping you but you don't seem to appreciate nor understand that. Perhaps the root of the problem is your own attitude, change that to start with.

Holy mew! Are we serious right now? Hohoo! You know for somebody who says they are not trying to offend me you sure are being super rude and full of yourself as all hell ya know? Honestly this is absurd. I’m not going to bother entertaining this rotten attitude of yours with a friendly post. You want to act like you are better then me? Then you get what's coming to you. One should not screw with Lord Dreamerz!

You seem to be neglecting the actual reason as to why the contest ended up as it did. It's still mainly because of the nit-picky restrictions and I can go through the major ones so you can get that in your head.

Oh I see that you know fully what transpired and all the reasons of what actually happened about why people did not enter the contest without actually having talked to everybody who know my contest... and just for your past experiences alone too! Oh all seeing wise mage with all the facts unknown to everybody but you, please enlighten us buffoons with your ultimate knowledge!

Extreme sarcasm aside. Could you possibility be anymore self-righteous? All I am mainly seeing across your whole wall of text post is you screaming at me about how right you “think” you are, and how wrong you want to “believe” I am. What rubbish.

I don’t give a hoot if people think I’ll judge fairly or not. Opinions are all bias no matter how many judges there are. If that scares some people away... then boohoo! Who cares. This is a bad guy contest anyways! Keeps it more in character to have only 1 judge.

This is not so bad as it adds flavor to the contest but this shouldn't be a rule, it should be optional and give creators more points if they do decide to add a story.

What are you smoking? The concept is a “Story” based adventure contest. If I allow people to not include story then it defeats 1 of the main parts of the contest. I don’t want levels with no story! And people should be challenged to do stories more. I get a feeling you don't remotely understand my contest.

It's very unnecessary to add a minimum time limit because it gives the impression that you don't trust the creators to make a level with an acceptable lengtht, so you add this rule to make sure that absolutely no entry is shorter than that. The 20 min level length wasn’t absolutely needed I’ll give you that. But it’s not a hard thing for people to actually do especially when given half a year to achieve this. Might change my mind on it next time.

Another badly configured rule because in normal cases only certain characters are excluded but in this case you exclude all characters if they are of default nature.

You gotta be joking with me right now. Even if I wanted to cut my rules down by half… no! even if I limited myself to 3 rules I would NEVER remove this rule! People can take their "not a real character" AKA default sack character fetish and keep it to themselves! I'm not going to promote more self-insert soulless generic waste of space.

As a note: I will however admit I could have worded and simplified the contents of that rule better. Something I’ll keep in mind for next time.

Are you a garbage enabler? I’m pretty sure you are a garbage enabler. Sorry but I expect better from people, unlike you.

Oh ho stupid is it?! Yeah I clearly will believe and follow your opinions now. Oops excuse me!… I said before that was going to be the end of my sarcasm. Hohoo!

Lets be honestly here. You are not trying to really help anybody anymore. You are now just complaining for the sake of it. NOTHING you been saying today comes across as nice or concerned about my contest and it‘s concepts. All you want is to tear down the mass of my ideas and turn something I made with love from my little black heart into another generic soulless piece of hogwash. Sorry babe I’m not biting into your BS.

Final notes. Nobody tells me what to do or how to think. If I take somebody’s suggestion out of the kindness of my heart then that’s my choice to do. If I want to change my rules to be less limiting, then that will be “my” choice. Not something you or ANYBODY are entitled too. I would always prefer to go down with my ship AKA my ideas and ideals then bend-over backwards to the demand of whiny brats like a coward and sell my soul.

Seriously get over it. Unless you have a change of heart later and start to actually care about what I think and my ideas. Otherwise buzz off from my stuff. You are not welcomed here if you plan on to keep throwing a tantrum. And no, do not reply farther. Unless making yourself into ironically a villain here is your big goal in life.
