Dawn of the dead and Shawn of said dead were awesome ^^. I also loved 28 days, but 28 weeks was a bit more of a let-down.

I was about to make this! But anyway, I'll post some movies for you, but beware, some are TERRIBLE, I'll highlight the bad ones in red.

Dawn of the Dead
Shaun of the Dead
28 Days Later
28 Weeks Later
Undead
Flight of the Living Dead
Land of the Dead (Several minutes of *** guys running from ketchup stained people.)
War of the Living Dead
Night of the Living Dead
Fido (Absolutely great! It's not your normal horror movie, but a happy zombie movie. Who da thunk it?)

I know there's more, but I can't remember them...

I've always liked Shaun of the Dead. They play video games in it :)

I consider the Resident Evil movies zombie films too and I really liked the first one. If you want real world zombies - check out The Serpent and the Rainbow. Not "eeew, gross Zombies" but more of a look at the culture of zombies in voodoo. I've always liked it.

Many of the abovementioned movies are really awesome. Shaun of the Dead is Great, as is Snyder's 2004 Dawn remake.

I'd also like to recommend 'REC (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1038988/)', Which the disasterously crappy 'Quarantine' was remade after.
The original Spanish movie was pretty dope.

REC was pretty terrifying :o

Rec was okay. I watched it on Box Office - it was pretty good, but I was just concentrating too hard on trying to translate the Spanish without reading the text!

Yes! Shaun of The Dead is an awesome film. Never gets old. That new film "Lesbian Vampire Killers" looks funny aswell:p. Might try too much to be funny and not be funny though.

Hi, here it is (don't click on link above)

Go away you Pr***:kz: what did you sign up to this site for you loser.

EDIT: lol, he's been banned already I think. His name has gone grey, it should say banned soon.

Really? Vampires are cool, but I love zombies.

Also you all have to watch this hilarious music video for an upcoming zombie game 'Zombies on my Lawn'

Burn Zombie Burn is a helluva Zombie game mind you..

And yeah, Zombies are cool and everything, but like..

You'll need hundreds of zombies to cause a problem, but only one vampire :)

Thats the best thing about zombies though... There's a hundred mindless, lurching, brainfiends coming after you and each and every one of them is useless!! :D

Planet Terror is a hugely entertaining movie, but my favourite zombie movie is the very first one.... Night of the Living Dead. Best ending ever. Evil Dead 2's ending was also epic....

sorry to revive a real old thread, but i've starting watching more and more zombie movies, some are amazingly brilliant others are hilariously stupid. Dance of the Dead is really funny because the zombies can drive and communicate and are affected by music., but watch the movie amazingly funny and a good time, just don't take it too seriously!

Anyone seen it?

Zombies are only scary depending on the type of zombie. There are the slow, stupid, stumbling, and somewhat cute zombies from Night of the Living Dead, and then there are 28 days later zombies, fast zombies that are actually scary. Everyone who died in Night of the Living Dead deserved it.

then my friend you need to get quaratine. Its basically the hollywood remake or REC, its almost scene for scene, I've watched both and while I prefer REC, they are both awesome

check Zombie Strippers...its hilarious.

Have you the brain worms?

That film is awful. really really awful. Sure you think stripper zombies might be fun, but not when they spend most of the film pole dancing in increasingly worse states of decomposition. eugh.

And while I'm on the case of bad zombie movies, avoid the new Day of The Dead like the plague, that is some baddddd film making, with no good qualities

Of course it is awful...awfully awesome. Of course it is a terrible movie, but it is just fun to watch...I mean, ya...there is nothing hot about it...but that is not the point. The terribleness of the movie is what makes it great. They are slow zombies, but when that music starts, man do they bust a move!!!

Your review just made me chuckle.

I don't think the movie broke through in to so bad it was good territory, I think it was just plain bad. It also took ages for the story to go anywhere, I'd say a solid 70% of the film was zombie pole dancing. which is at least 50% too much pole dancing

I've never been a fan of running zombies. If you think zombies that walk aren't scary then you must have been watching fairly crap zombie films. Of course, most of the old school zombies aren't all that scary by today's standards, but that's not so much because they can't run as because they're not wearing enough make up to look undead. It's just as easy to be eaten by some slow creepy zombie hiding just around the corner as it is to be chased down by a crazy spazz zombie.
It's a different kind of fear, running zombies are more of a shocker thing, all of a sudden you're SCARED OUT OF YOUR PANTS for five seconds. Whereas slow zombies are more of a constant feeling of unease, you know they're out there, you just have to hope you don't run into one. Or five thousand. If one gets you cornered, you're screwed no matter how slow it is.

I can handle the zombie pole dancing...just look past the decaying flesh and it's fine :p not really though....but the whole launching things at each other at the end...that was not pleasant. But I still say Zombie Strippers Rocks!! So  :p

I am in the process of reading it and yes it's friggn amazing! Slow zombies are always better. Scarier, cooler, and they can have all kinds of fun moral messages attached:p
Fast zombies are just generic movie monsters.
Also, ZOMBIELAND LOOKS SO GREAT I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT MOVIE
