I've been suffering from a bit of creators block. Not as in not having any ideas, but just the focus and commitment in making them.

So I've decided to give it one last shot, to pour all of my efforts into one level and how well it will do will most likely dictate whether or not I put as much effort in again.

So what's the plan on the level?

To make the best looking level I can, packed full of interesting gameplay ...

I had absolutely nothing to do today, so instead of finishing off a few projects like I told myself to, I started a completely new one and got a really long way through it.


Note: the sky is a lot bluer and there's some colour correction going on so it isn't nearly as washed out, not too sure why it didn't transfer over to the picture.

I'm in the process of making a level that, in my opinion, might well turn out to be pretty awesome. Anyway, the problem is that there are plenty of things that could go wrong and since I'm making it so therefore know exactly what to do and I don't know anyone outside of this forum who plays LBP2, could one or two of you just play through the minute or so I put up to see if there are any glaring flaws that I've missed?

Making this level has been slow, oh so very slow. But that's because I want it to have a noticeable amount of polish to it. Even so, it's really boring to be honest so I've come up with a solution.

I'll sort out the checkpoints and publish what little I've done as a concept-demo type deal to see what people think of it while I carry on with two other projects I've been working on. So since it won't be a full level I'll put the link up in this post when I'm done instead of putting ...

I've never really "broken through" in LBP2, despite having (at this moment) a 12:1 like:dislike ratio on both my published levels. So I thought the only way to rectify this is to make something that makes people step back and go "...daym."

So here's the run down of what I'm working on now (and pictures, yay!)

- As per usual, heavily stylised imagery. Kind of going with the silhouette idea but it's light enough so you can see textures ect. (done) ...
