Welcome to the latest and greatest edition of the Community Spotlight! It's a big one this month as we now feature - drum roll please - the first batch of LBP Vita Spotlights. In addition, we're excited to welcome OriginalCreator to the crew to help us play through all of those new and exciting Vita levels! Let's play a little game of word association, shall we?
I say Holguin, you think: Cuba, Sun, Sea, Sand...
You say Holguin, I think: Boss Fights!
Yes, the creator who took his name from a holiday he took when he bought his PS3 (Talk about random.... *cough*) is now under the Creator Spotlight microscope! Holguin86 is the perfect example of someone who likes to push the envelope. Every level on his earth is a refreshing take on established concepts within gaming: The Time Warp, The Dungeon, The Survival Challenge, and of course... The Boss.
The man is infatuated with Boss fights - and each one he releases is even more challenging and intriguing than the last! But that's far from the only thing he has to offer - this creator is no one-trick pony. Imaginative settings and mind-blowing gameplay mechanics are a foregone conclusion when Holguin86 is involved.
How does he do it? It's a mystery to me. I suspect there may be some sort of voodoo practices at work. Perhaps involving fabric effigies of sackboy in front of a bubbling cauldron, heaped to the brim with jelly. Welcome to the latest slice of mouth watering Showcase action! We’ve plenty for you to feast on from fantastic animation work to epic story series and awesome platforming. So put down your Vita for 5 minutes and go queue these amazing levels. Welcome one and all to the latest batch of freshly baked levels, hot from the Level Showcase, each one good enough to eat...sorry, must have been hanging around with Hubbie too much! Anyway, there’s a distinct feel of Autumn in the air in this Episode and even our first Halloween level of the season! So banish those back to school blues by booting up your PS3 and getting playing. Be sure to check out the nods too, as there are some real gems in that list.

Welcome one and all to the latest instalment of the Spotlight. It’s small but perfectly formed, filled as it is with a varied set of levels with one thing in common – their all round awesomeness!
You will notice that we haven’t included in this episode any levels entered for the Progressive contest. We agonised over this decision but in the end we felt that, given the way this particular contest is being judged, it would not be fair to feature any contest entries until after the shortlist has been finalised. Progressive levels posted in the Level Showcase in the last fortnight will be held over until the 10 most hearted levels have been selected.
