Welcome one and all to the latest Episode of the Spotlight. Easter may have come and gone but we have a smattering of Easter themed levels for those chocoholics wanting to keep the memories alive. Other than that the theme is definitely one of awesome platforming goodness – there are some truly outstanding levels this week which will keep lovers of platforming very happy. The nods put up another strong showing too with a whole slew of wonderful levels from gruesome pinball to fantastic football and with music, Manga style drama and Western shoot-outs also thrown into the mix. What are you waiting for, get playing!

As usual, Hubbie will be publishing the Spotlight Hub for Episode 83 tomorrow at some point - probably after snack time...

Welcome everyone to Episode 82 of the Community Spotlight. As ever, we have a great selection of levels for you to play and as ever, they will be featured in our ingame hub published by the cookie-loving Hubbie.

We just wanted to let you all know that we’ve made a change to our policy as regards the Spotlight Hub. After giving it a lot of thought, we’ve come to the conclusion that the role of the hub should be to try and to give greater exposure to those levels featured in the Spotlight which need the plays – which really need a “spotlight”. As a result, from now on any level which has an MM Pick or which already has a very high play count will still be eligible to be included in the Spotlight thread but won’t get a slot in the hub. That way the plays which the hub gets will be spread amongst those levels with fewer plays to start with. We hope you all agree this is a change for the better. You may also have noticed that even within the hub we’ve left the central area for the levels with lower play counts and put the levels with a higher play count (usually 2,000 plus) off to the left a little. We would really appreciate your feedback on these changes and on any other aspects of the Spotlight.

Finally, we are delighted to see that some of the Japanese members here and their fellow creators have put together a Spotlight hub for Japanese levels. We think this is a great idea and are pleased to say that there will be a link to their first hub in our hub (if that makes sense, lol! I need a cookie...)

There’s something for everyone: epic platforming, brain-bending puzzles, hilarious point and click action and all for the low, low price of only...What? From which you will gather that this has been a busy couple of weeks at Spotlight Central. But don’t worry, we’ll survive. True, some members of the Crew are twitching and others have a wild look in their eyes...but don’t you worry, no, we’ll be just fine. The medication will kick in at some point, I guess. Nothing a few cookies (and two weeks in the Seychelles?? Please? NO? OK, then) won’t put to rights. *cough*

Welcome to Episode 79 of the Spotlight! We may have fewer levels for you this fortnight but they are all of fantastic quality with some inspirational platforming, stunning visuals and cool puzzles for you to get your teeth into. Once again we will be publishing a hub for the levels featured in this Episode and don’t forget to try out our nifty “nodinator” - there are some excellent levels amongst the honourable mentions too! The hub level is now live, and Spaff will be featuring it in the ingame newsfeed on Monday as usual.

Welcome to the latest brand new, shiny Episode of the Spotlight! We want to start by thanking you all for your support for the Spotlight Hub we published ingame last week. We can’t tell you how chuffed we were with the positive reception it got and “hubbie” is clearly a star in the making. Let’s just hope he/she doesn’t get an agent and start asking for commission! Most importantly, though, it made a huge difference to the levels featured. Every single one has now got over 3,000 plays, even those that had less than a hundred before the Hub went live. So YAY! This Episode we’ve tried to direct some of that attention towards the honourable mentions too and so the Hub features a nifty “Nodinator” which will generate random nods from this fortnight’s Episode at the push of a button. Mr_Fusion is the genius behind that cool bit of tech so a big thanks to him and to rialrees for again producing the Hub. Spaff will be posting it in the Newsfeed ingame on Monday. In the meantime here's a link to the Hub. It may be locked for a short while after this thread is posted but we'll be unlocking as soon as we can!

Hi, everyone.

As you may have heard, there have been some dramatic developments in the world of the LBPC Spotlight! Spaff was awesome enough to put the most recent Spotlight Episode in the in-game Newsfeed. We’ve been working hard ever since to make the most of this fantastic opportunity to give some much needed extra exposure to the spotlighted levels. We are incredibly proud, chuffed, honoured and delighted (phew!) to announce that later today we will publish, under the LBPCentralHub PSN, an in-game hub showcasing all the levels with a full Spotlight in Episode 77. The hub will posted by Spaff in the Newsfeed and that way we hope that all the levels featured will get an equal chance of extra plays and players will easily be able to locate the hub in game. If we do say so ourselves, the hub is pretty jolly spiffy and our heartfelt thanks go to rialrees for creating it and to OneEyedBanshee for his artistic input too. All of this is pretty embryonic at the moment and we welcome all comments and suggestions for improvement.

We are also delighted to announce that Mr_Fusion has joined the Spotlight Crew and it’s been a pleasure working with him over the past couple of weeks.

In the meantime, despite all the excitements, we have been getting on with the bread and butter of spotlighting and have come up with another set of awesome, original and entertaining levels for you to play. Please do also take time to check out the “nods”. There are some very cool levels in that section all of which are well worth a play!

Hello and Happy New Year to you all! The first Spotlight of 2012 certainly gets the New Year off to a great start. It’s a bumper one filled with some truly outstanding levels guaranteed to chase away any January blues. So drop what you’re doing, forget about New Year’s resolutions to do more exercise and get playing some of what’s on offer. You won’t regret it.

There’s no PSP Spotlight this time round but hopefully it will return with new vigour in the next Episode.

It's that time again, a fresh Community Spotlight just in time for Christmas! We'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope that you all enjoy the festivities over the coming days. You might have noticed a bumper amount of backlog levels this episode, we're immensely proud to say that's the last of 'em! It's been a blast playing all those levels but it's a great relief to finally be done and dusted with the backlog. On with the future! And we're pleased to see an equally massive amount of current spotlights this episode. Thank you to the community for such a great gift. The last episode was looking a little slim but you've bounced back generously. Have fun everybody! We would also like to say a very fond farewell to one of our members, rialrees. She has been a great asset to the team and put so much work in during her time with us. We can't thank her enough and truly wish her all the best in her future endeavors. So thank you Ria! You may go but you won't be forgotten. And to all, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
