Starting July 7th, an awesome set of four packs containing various Marvel heroes (and villains!) will begin making their way to the PlayStation Store. The first will hit the store July 7th, with each successive pack releasing every other following week. If we've done our math right, you can look forward to new Marvel costumes the weeks of July 7th, July 21st, August 4th, and August 18th. There's even a matching Level Kit on the way, with four Marvel-themed levels full to the brim with music, objects, materials, stickers, and even a special “Rooftop” background for you to collect. Even more details on the Level Kit are on their way next week!

Anyone know if these are he same models as the ones in LBP2 and in LBP2 the graphics engine just makes it look prettierful?
LBP2's engine does make things prettier, yes.
In any case, whaddaya mean pretty plastic? Of course it does! It's LBP, where you can have a fly costume made of bottle caps and a tack holding the cardboard wings to the back of Sackboy.
Poor Sackboy. The agony we put him through just to dress him up, and he takes it all with a smile. Bless his cotton stuffing.

Considering 20 costumes, and seven or eight days (including the weekend, not sure if they'd updated then), I'm thinking they'll take the big guns and showcase them separately, and shove the rest together.
I'm also thinking they'll show the Fantastic Four together as well. Well... Fantastic Three, in this case, but maybe they've got Richards in the Level Pack, instead of the Costume packs? The past did show us they always sneak a throw-away character in the Level Packs (Gurgolovic Soldier and Cannibal).
Considering Richards is fairly mundane in terms of appearance when it comes to a translation into Sackboy... It's basically his hair that makes him stand out.
This is ignoring Susan, of course, of whom we have no further information as to how she'll look (or won't look, if they decide to make her translucent in the game).
EDIT 2: Also, I'm being a complete Marvel nerd, even though I'm not. For those not very familiar with Marvel Comics

Starting July 7th and every other week following, we’ll introduce four different Marvel Costume Packs, each with five different costumes depicting Marvel’s mightiest Super Heroes and most dreaded Super Villains.
There'll be a costume pack out every other week. So the first one will be out on the 7th July, second on the 21st July, third on the 4th August, and last on the 18th August.
It makes sense this way, because most people who intend to buy all the costumes probably won't be able to buy all 20 at once.
