IceMaiden
The Snow Queen
Interview conducted by xkappax
Unless you live somewhere in the southern hemisphere, it’s Summer right now, filled with hot, long days of basking in the sun, swimming and sipping lemonade whilst sitting on your porch enjoying the beautiful weather. I’m sitting at my computer right now, looking at the thermometer in my Dashboard App on my Macintosh. It reads 85˚F (That’s 29.4˚C, for you folks in the rest of the world!).

javi_haguse
Subterranean Specialist
Interview conducted by xkappax
I think it is safe to say that anyone who knows me knows of my love of 3 things: crystals, ghosts and caves. That being said, it will come as no surprise that someone like me would want to spotlight someone like javi_haguse. Why? Because javi_haguse is not just GOOD at making caves. He is the master of all things subterranean, creating some of the most striking cave scenes that I have ever seen in LittleBigPlanet. But that's not the only thing that javi_haguse excels at. Javi is an artist, blending beautifully colored lights to bring his rocky scenes to life, with a lighting style that puts him right up there with lighting masters such as Morgana25 and Nattura. But don't just take my word for it. Put on your spelunking gear and we'll delve into the depths of javi_haguse's creative genius.

Teebonesy
Lights, Camera, Action!
Interview conducted by xkappax
Before the lynch mob is knocking at my LittleBigDoor and saying "What’s the deal, spotlighting one of your own?", I want to explain something. I wrote this interview as my very first interview. It was sort of a try-out for the spotlight team to make sure that I was actually able to do this whole writing thing. Truth told, this interview was supposed to run before Morgana’s. It was also written before Teebonesy joined our little group. My point is: Just because he’s part of the Spotlight Crew doesn’t mean that this creator doesn’t deserve one of these articles. Play any one of his levels and I think you’ll agree with me. So, that being said, I set out to find the elusive Teebonesy and see if I could work out just what made him tick.

poms
Passionately Driven Towards Perfection
Interview conducted by jwwphotos
I first met poms about a year ago when I got a rather nice note on a level of mine saying it was a favorite of his, as well his daughter, to play together. I was amazed, honored and totally touched to know that such an amazing and ingenious creator had such a warm heart to share that story with me. Just envisioning him as a father and excited to play LBP with his young daughter to this day makes me smile. Since then, I have been honored in play testing, critiquing and playing online with poms many times. However, it was in reading the volumes he has posted here on LBPC concerning his desire and determination for perfecting his levels, as well as achieving the best for them, that caused me to recall his first note to me. It was at that moment that I finally realized the incredible drive and passion of the one they call poms.
Poms' excellence and creative genius has landed him in the middle of controversy on several occasions. Not only from his passion and zeal in wishing to perfect his craft by revisiting and making update after update, but also simply from the content and subject matter he chooses to portray in LBP. Whether it be his jail cell escape sequences in The Bunker, the cute and controversial rocket ride adventures of 500.000.001 in Miracle of Life, the magical opening scene in Fairytale Fights, the wacky motorcycle rides through Heaven and Hell in Hell's Angels 1 and 2, or the newest cannon popping fun, Spice & Company, poms is truly one that is set on grabbing your attention.

jump_button
The Softly Spoken Artist
Interview conducted by Teebonesy
LittleBigPlanet is shelter to a matted wilderness of varied creators. So it only makes sense that somewhere out there you'd come across some fantastically individualistic creators with a wholly unique approach. Occasionally, you'd be right. Jump_button is the consummate quirky artist, a soldier in the ranks of unique and innovative creators devoted to originality in his work. He's soft-spoken, shy, he doesn't say or type much, and when he does it's often missing punctuation and any vestige of grammatical proofreading - But look beyond the sparse writing, and behold the concept sketches he does for his levels. They are as intricate and detailed and wonderful as you're likely to find in these talent-rich creatorlands. His artistry defines his levels, and despite his hesitancy to be an open book, his creations speak for him, and in the case of jump_button, they speak volumes more than any long-winded spotlight-introduction-writer ever could.

Morgana25
Queen of Light
Interview conducted by xkappax
It’s become apparent to me now that I’ve started writing these spotlights that every creator has a niche. Whether it’s a knack for logic, a penchant for trains and the creation there-of, simply a blatant refusal to make anything other than crystals and ghosts; everyone’s got something that they’re good at. Caryn, or Morgana25 as she is more commonly known around these parts, is no exception.
But what was her specialty? Stickers? Her amazing efforts in the community? Possibly. But there was something else about her that stood out to me like a beacon.
I had the pleasure of working quite a bit with Morgana25 during the online create beta test. When making The Three Flamigos, I flew over to see what she was doing after not seeing or hearing from her in at least an hour. That was when I saw it. 30-plus blinking spotlights used to light a section of the level you see for literally one second. As I gazed at this, I quickly learned what Miss Morgana’s specialty was.

Note by ConfusedCartman: MrsSpookyBuz completed two Creator Spotlights before departing from LBPCentral. Now that we have the Creator Spotlight back up on its feet, we are beginning to publish these as we did before she left. This Creator Spotlight and the Creator Spotlight published two weeks ago were both written by her - all Creator Spotlights after this one will be written by someone new. Who? Well, I guess you'll just have to stick around to find out!

CuzFeeshe
The Wizard of Gameplay (aka The Joypad Destroyer)
Interview conducted by MrsSpookyBuz
Some say that his levels are built by telekinesis. Some say he can lethalise materials simply by looking at them. Others are left in a shaken, wrecked state after spending countless hours playing his heart-pumping innovations. As Highlander used to say: "There can be only one." Ladies and gentlemen, it's CuzFeeshe...

comphermc
The Logical Choice
Interview conducted by MrsSpookyBuz
To say comphermc's talent lies simply with logic creation would be a gross understatement. His skills in the technical side of LBP are quite rightly well regarded, but look beyond the switches and wires and you'll find a veritable treasure trove of fun, well-designed levels. Is he simply addicted to AND/OR gates? Does he produce mathematically sound gameplay? Or indeed, is he actually human?!! Let's ask him a few questions and find out...
