That's right, The official LBPC Caption Contest has just hit the 50th round! That is over one year of goodness and fun which a testament to the longest running community contests on LBPC.
Never heard of the Caption Contest?! If you have skip on down to the next paragraph. If not, well.. every round a new set is developed in our deep underground laboratories, handcrafted by our expert creators. The stage is then set with actors as well as sackbots and an HD picture is taken. That resulting picture is the blank slate for which you to craft your whimsical sentiment to the image and enter up to two per round. Funniest caption takes home 250xp, 2nd place 100xp and 3rd 50xp. (except for this special round)
Those of you that have entered and followed The Caption Contest these past 18 or so month, we thank you for keeping this alive and participated, even if you've simply gotten a good chuckle from reading through all the entries.
Some of you may know that Sage first revived / started this contest back in June of 2009. Even he can't remember who originated it, but he took on two judges, Zwollie and Dorien and the Caption Contest was again born and started with round 1. Later that year, Sage handed the keys over to Zwollie who later that year for Halloween, ran our first ever Home Brew captions thus departing from the dwindling amount of Mm pics that were normally used in the contest. That is the time that Zwollie invited me (jwwPhotos) into the judges seat and to also help build the past 30 some caption sets along with the help of the illustrious TheCountessZ. Around January 2010, Zwollie departed LBPC and left the keys to me. From that point on, I have co ran the contest with the help of TheCountessZ and turned it from a weekly contest to a two week per round format. It has been an extreme privilege to bring this great contest that has inspired and made people laugh for well over a year.
For our 50th round rather than coming up with a new caption set, we have decided to stir the tiles and reach back in the archives! We will not feature one picture, but three pictures each for it's own contest!!! Three times the fun for everyone! So that means you can enter all three contests and have up to two captions for each picture! This special contest will run for a whole month, but instead of having it's usual podium of first, second and third, there will only be one winner for each picture for 500XP. That also means if you are really good with your entries, you could actually have a chance of winning all three contests!! So lets get into all the rules and such!
The premise is simple; whoever places the best caption on the provided LBP images wins! The caption could be a thought going through the characters' heads, or something the characters are saying, or even a short story leading up to the picture! It can practically be anything you want, as long as it's clean and abides by the forum rules.
NOTE: Humor is the only way to win!
This 50th round official 3 pictures will be posted below and you have ONE MONTH (Jan 29th) before the thread is locked for judging. Once the next round commences, a new picture will be posted, and the winners from the previous round shall be announced.

Rules "50th Round only":
- Only two captions per user PER PIC! (you do not have to post them all at the same time). You may have up to six entries, but only two entries per person for each picture!!!
- Image editing/manipulating (Photoshopping/GIMP-ing) is allowed.
- Awards will be handed out at the end of the round, usually on a Saturday after the month time limit for this rounds special time limit. At that time, the image for the next round will be displayed. Reminder!!! Only the 1st place result for each picture will be awarded XP or mentioned.
- Post the pictures on this thread, there will be no gallery section but they will be archived when the round is over.
- Image needs to be around the same size as the original for legibility. Smaller ones will be accepted, but if they cannot be read and you cannot fix your entry, then it will be horribly hard to judge and probably will not win. You are more then welcome to get with me to give you help, plus I have a handy how to up above!
- PLEASE AVOID ATTACHEMENTS! They are either too small or I cannot archive them easily. Sometimes they work fine, but more times than not I have to struggle with them.

This was such a fun round and we really enjoyed all the entries, especially it being Christmas and a funny Santa scene. Ho Ho Ho!! There were quite a few good ones, but we finally decided on the winners over Christmas yummy treats and hot cocoa.
