The Shaded Shrineby
Alley_Cat_8633Nothing is as it seems at the mystical Shaded Shrine. Explore it's depths and reaches in search of lost idols with magic powers and plenty of score bubble treasure. -- Updated June 4th, 2011. Improved visuals, added more score bubbles, fixed ending which would fail on occasion.
At first, all is silence. And suddenly – BOOM! You are rocketed off on a speedy bubble-popping adventure in this new level from Alley_Cat_8633. From pulling the very first lever, you find yourself darting through layers and narrowly avoiding fiendish spike traps as you hurtle your way towards the finish line. You're in for a truly exhilarating ride!
Resurrecting the old JackOfCourse formula that we know and love; Alley_Cat_8633 has managed to pull off something that extra bit special. Filled to the brim with neat gameplay tricks and never being short of imagination, it goes off like a roller coster and doesn't let you go until the very end. It's that type of level which demonstrates how to make a game that consistently focuses on pure enjoyment in addition to having a clear enough conscience not to go near its arch enemies such as frustration. Guaranteed to please just about everybody. Well done.
Make sure you check out this new level by Alley_Cat_8633. Beautiful visuals, fun gameplay, and cool mechanics. Make this a well rounded experience. Loved it!
Archeological Atrocities : Part 2 "Ballyhou Gorge"by
Hammertoe_1The quickest way to get to the professor is through the Ballyhou Gorge. The old excavation equipment is still running, so proceed with caution as you make your climb. Let's hope the mountain goats are kept at bay. Good luck! Simple platforming abounds in part two. Can you find all 6 bonus artifacts? I love feedback, so please feel free to leave me some.
This stunning level sees you travelling through a beautifully detailed archeological dig, then through industrial mining centres full of potential pitfalls, and back again. Hammertoe_1 blends the two environments seamlessly, all the while providing plenty of entertainment in the form of tight, enjoyable platforming, and beautifully crafted chracters (and Goats!) to watch as you whizz by. A must see!
A simply gorgeous level, combined with solid gameplay, make this a level you shouldn't miss!!
Pop out the theme music, put on your Indiana Jones hat and get ready to go on a truly fantastic adventure archaeological dig! There is so much to see throughout the level that I enjoyed. For example, the theme seamlessly changes from time to time to two fantastic areas that could both have made a game in itself. And that's not even mentioning the fun platforming that will have the toughest critic nodding their head up and down pleased with the end result. Oh, and I like to pretend the grappling hook is a whip. Wa-PPSSH!
Fail of A Whale That Monstroby
ToykyoMegaplexONE PLAYER ONLY: Begin the oh so glorious adventure to the tale of Pinocchio! Due to the gameplay involving checkpoints, the level will sometimes auto-kill you because the safety checkpoints didn't register correctly. Sorry but it's unavoidable. Also, the level has frozen in play mode MULTIPLE times... it's not a thermometer thing, the level complexity is pretty high so.. sorry.. again! Play at your own risk! Music: Track 1 and 3: hilightnotes. Track 2: weirdybeardy!
Innovative gameplay, fantastic visuals, and some awesome storytelling to boot, this level has got it all: A giant whale, a disgruntled puppetmaster, and a quest that will take all of your creatinator shooting, platforming jumping, and bounce pad bounding skills to complete! I can't wait to see where tokyo takes this wonderful series in the future!
You know how some games have the catchiest slogans? Like oh... “Now you're thinking with portals”? Well now, my friends, you're going to be thinking with Checkpoints. Toykyomegaplex has produced a mind-bogglingly innovative level, with a gameplay mechanic that intrigued me, delighted me, and also terrified me! You find yourself in the belly of a whale, searching for the lost Pinnochio. In order to find him, you need to shoot checkpoints and commit hari-kiri in order to progress. A little dark? Maybe, but it's also downright fun!
Toykyomegaplex has created a simply brilliant level! I don't think i can say enough good things about it. Just make sure to play it if you haven't already.
OPLLKHOFDLKLHGHJHKIFDR. What? Sorry that was just my jaw hitting the keyboard.

NevenzMusic & scenery. Put down your control and turn up the volume. Sounds good through headphones. 90%+ of level set used due to large set pieces. (The starship is big enough to hold a regular size sackbot). Full thermo, overheats when main sequencer is open. ft. the song Distance.(remix). Thanks for listening, cheers to those who finish the level.
Nevenz has created a stunning showcase with catchy music and really inventive use of the dynamic LBP2 backgrounds. A lone spaceship zooms through through gorgeously lit environments before being catapulted into the vast, colourful depths of outer space and back again.Sit back, put your controller down, and turn up the volume to really experience this level in its full glory.
This music video had me glued! Nevenz has created one of the best music vids around! Innovative use of backgrounds is a feature that really pops! Check it!!
Absolutely brilliant. That is the best and only way I can think to describe it. Incredible use of lights make the visuals top-notch plus being combined with terrific music will definitely have you humming along with it in no time. But don't take my word for it, I suggest you play it to find out.
LBP Bomberman 8-bit Style 2 (classic)by
choebClassic Bomberman Gameplay in a new Bomberman Versus stage.... More arenas, more Power Ups, CPU Players and more of everything else.... Created by Choeb, Pixle Art by Adawong08....... Music Credit to: Sevenisacanibal, Kurobit, Kmoneyzero, the greeksavior Jbird777 will follow.
A perfect recreation of the classic bomberman gameplay, with added competition against your friends, or AI, if that's more your thing. Beautifully animated sprites and perfectly exectued logic make for an impressive entry to the showcase!
An exceptional level that veteran and completely new "what does that button do?" bomberman fans alike will enjoy. Lovingly recreated, multipayer or single, for your enjoyment purposes. It starts with a bang, ends with a boom and that alone surely deserves a play!
Hop to it! [PART 1]by
MnniskaOh snap! The ToadQueen have ( somehow ) captured you and is now forcing you to endure sneaky platforming challenges in a colourfull world where layer-changing is taken to new depths! Will you come out on the other side of the FROGENA or are you doomed not to hop? This level was created in two weeks. Take that, social life! Designed for one player only~
Hello there, little Fluffball! You have been forced by the Frog Queen to take part in her televisual platforming feast! Deprived of your layer switching abilities, watch as Mnniska once again pushes the boundaries with his latest level. I really enjoyed the challenge in this level – having to perfectly time your layer switching will soon make you realise how much we take our Sackthing's auto-switching tendencies for granted! Yet another must-play from a truly inspiring creator!
Mnniska hit the nail on the head again with this unique level. Hop to it, uses fun layer shifting puzzles to navigate this brilliant level. I had a blast!!
Mnniska always seems driven to invent exciting new concepts and ideas and this level is no different - I guarantee you all that you have not seen a level like this before. Its originality is something to be admired and humour something to be, well, laughed at. And Mnniska pulls it off with such ease that its sometimes hard to get my head around. This proves to all the other levels out there, all you need is a little imagination and a little persistence in order to make something great.
The Printz Diaries‚ Prologue: Cityscapes and Dreamscapesby
rialreesAnd so the Epic Saga begins. . . Printz is quietly minding his own business in his hometown when he is abducted by an old lady. She takes him away to a mysterious land. . . How will Printz get out of this predicament? Who knows . . . Featuring music by radio_statik! (Fonts by Defcab, Lite_sleeper & Comphermc)
Rialrees really nailed it with this brilliant introduction to her upcoming series The Printz Diaries. Wonderfully put together cinematics, combined with light humor really have me exited about this series! Check it out!!
I'm trying to pretend I'm Ria writing another one of her comments for the spotlight, but the more I try to think what to say the more I begin to realize that she's way too experienced for me. The amount of work she puts into it is phenomenal. The attention to detail, the caring she puts into every word short or long, that, I don't think I could replicate it in any way. It's almost the exact same feeling with her brilliant introduction for her upcoming level series. Simply put, it is fantastic. Now go on, play it!
(LBPC1) Metallic Sky-Cityby
FriendlyCreatorsSomething was happend in Sky-City... UFO attack? or maybe they are guide us directly to hidden and unknown place of Sky-City for some reason?... NOTE : This is LBPC1 crown contest entry co-created by xkjz3l and ALS_TheGamer,Highly recommended for 1 player only,we hope you like it.
Friendlycreators (aka xkjz3l and ALS_TheGamer) bring us a delightful take on the no-floor platformer! This level took me right back to the seventies... I know I wasn't alive then guys, come on just go with it! Anyway, from the intermittent UFO invasions to the stunning and original style, this level really made me wonder “What would have happened if Roswell was a disco?” Tight gameplay and something new to look at around every corner – I loved it!
So far this is one of my favorite levels from the LBPC1 competition. Brilliant mechanics, and gameplay really shine through in this fantastic level! Play it!!
Just when I thought I seen it all this level shows up knocking on my pod's door. Cool visual style, awesome gameplay and funny (yet intriguing...) UFO sightings and abductions and make this a worthy contender for LBPC1. Well done guys!
The Skyborne Temple - Part One: The Gatesby
bonner123You and your meticulous partner Chives arrive at the fabled Skyborne Temple, which is said to hold the Tree of Life. How will you get in? | Part two and three will be released as soon as they're completed | 1/3 |
Bonner123 shows some incredible attention to detail in this short but satisfying puzzler/platformer! Amidst the relaxing environment set out before me, I found myself dodging back and forward along the sections of the level, finding new little parts to the puzzle that I didn't even notice until they were revealed! Simple and uncomplicated, but no less pleasing for it, this level deserves a look!
Hold on to your hats! You might lose em while you platform your way through the clouds in this brilliant level by Bonner123. Check it out!
Bonner123 seems to have his head up in the clouds, but in this case it actually is a good thing! Simple yet effective platforming will accompany you through this solid adventure which, although short, will leave you with fond memories of your travels.
Halcyon Dreamby
XTrophxWalk through the buildings in this halcyon dream while lights turn on to the music rhythm. *Move with the cam*. Thanks a lot to XxBlindWolfxX for helping a lot with the music, OneEyedBanshee for helping with effects and to everyone who tested. If you liked this level.. make sure to check out SAKUSAKU-_-Y levels that inspired me to do this. lbpcentral.com/ littlebigplanetarium.com
xTrophx has created a beautiful piece of art. In this level you find yourself running ahead, trying to keep up with a sequenced camera as you weave your way through a beautifully lit cityscape, with sequenced animation in synch with a stunning soundtrack. Relaxing, visually and audibly pleasing, and generally enjoyable, go see this now!
Don't miss this awesome looking level by xtrophyx! Platform your way through the rooftops of a wonderful looking cityscape. Don't get too far behind though, because this one moves at it's own pace. Be sure to check it out!
With a gorgeous backdrop in a neon lit city accompanied by an incredible original music score - I think I might have fallen in love. But I guess if I truly love it, I must let it go. *Sigh*. Carrying on... it's a very enjoyable, relaxing, superb level that deserves all the attention it can get! Which includes you, of course, hop to the occasion!
Pacific Follyby
LockstitchAn island fortress in the Pacific detains those that would seek to do it harm... Forever. ( Entry for LBN Legends Competition. Setting: Pacific Islands circa late 19th century) Audio Composition by "Arexion."
Lockstitch brings us another platforming gem in the form of Pacific Folly – a level based entirely upon physics-based gameplay. Use your paintinator, your brawn, and your wits to navigate your way through this maze of ledges and lifts. I don't see much physics based gameplay in LBP nowadays, so I loved how visceral this level felt. Certainly worth your time!
I always love to see a level with brilliant use of the paintinator, and Lockstich has created just that. Make sure to take note of the great visuals, as you splat your way through!
Lockstitch has once again proven that he is the one to beat when it comes to true, fun, no-nonsense platforming. As mentioned above, this level sees you use your paintinator to blast each and every obstacle in your path away. It provides again and again that platforming itch I know all of you crave, and there's no better way to help you through a sunny afternoon then to load this up. A fantastic level through and through.
The Wheels Of Revolutionby
MicGorbachevThe year is 1917, and there is unrest among the people of Russia towards their Tsarist Monarchy, and its oppression of the working class. With the help of a close ally, make your way past the Tsar's guards, through the city of Petrograd, and overthrow the Monarchy. 8 Marxist secrets to collect. 1 PLAYER preferred.
In Soviet Russia, wheel turns you! I know, I'm sorry. I had to get in there before the other guys did! In all seriousness, this level is a doozie! Run, jump, grab and fight your way through a visual feast, surrounded by snazzy propoganda posters. The gameplay throughout is exciting and varied, making you wonder what lies around the next turn. Go forth, comrade, and overthrow the Tsar!
Micgorbachev has created a simply must play level! Between the great gameplay, and the brilliant mechanics. This is something you can't miss!
In Tsar Russia, there is no Soviet Russia, which means no more Soviet Russia jokes! Well we have to do something about this. Play through this delightfully fun level and learn a thing or two about Russian history in the process. The level ticks all the boxes; visuals, gameplay and story that will help you along the way to glorious victory!
NES - Castlevania 8-Bit Pixel Side-Scroller [1 Player] by
BirryMaysThe Castlevania masterpiece from the Nintendo Entertainment System library has come to Little Big Planet 2! Take control of Simon Belmont, a vampire hunter searching for Dracula to rid Translevania of its evil!! Can you make it to the final endurance and conquer evil? The music, the logo, and Simon Belmont logic are prizes in the level :)
Excuse me, I just have to retrieve my jaw. This level is unbelievable! The amount of effort that has been put into every last detail – from Simon's character animation to every single enemy sprite in the level, everything flows perfectly, and animation is so faithful to the original game! Grab your whip and get monster-busting, let's play Castlevania!
I've always loved Castlevania games, so it's no surprise that I loved this remake of the first in the series. Birrymays has done a wonderful job of recreating it for LBP. This has to be seen to be believed!
K3ndra. What more can I say? Every level I play from this creator oozes their style – Gorgeous custom stickers and stunning uses of texture and decorations are pretty much a given on this particular earth. Once again, we are dazzled by a showcase of the themes introduced in Elysian Fields, but this time it's been mixed up a little! Not to be missed, as always!
K3ndrakray once again presents a visual feast, with Elysian Fields Intermission. With great platforming, and the whimsical visual style this level is a force to be reacond with! Don't miss it!
Why are you reading this comment and not playing the level?

Adventures Of A Space Monkey - Introby
TheNotorious-187"An Echoe Of A Distant Time Comes Billowing Across The Sky" ( Pink Floyd - Echoes ) An introduction to the adventures of a space monkey series, it will be an original story, whilst paying homage to some classic sci fi films along the way. (LBPCentral). CRASH LANDING 2011.
There are a host of absurdly beautiful scenes in this stunning movie by TheNotorious-187. Calming scenes of distant Galaxies, dancing the waltz as our intrepid hero glides through towards his destination. What adventures will he come up against? What is a Space Monkey anyway? I look forward to finding out in the rest of the series!
Few level series have a movie intro that can match this one. With stunning space scenes that are so well made they could be mistaken this 2001: A Space Oddysey, TheNotorious-187 has a movie that can leave anyone in awe and eager to see what happens next!
Stanley Kubrik meets LBP in this beautifully realised film by TheNotorious-187. As our hero, the enigmatic Space Monkey, pursues his adventures through space, the screen is filled with gorgeous, colour-saturated shots of planets gliding gracefully past one another. You’ll be left wondering how the creator produced these beautiful effects and intrigued to see where he goes next with this series.
CATCH A SACKBOY! [FUNNY MOVIE]by
SickivionkeyUPDATE: Better menu and music as prizes.... A looney tunes cartoon... Little Big Planet style. Will the Collector succeed? Four different episodes to choose from, so play twice to see them all! Press 'start' to skip the intro. Thanks to lite_sleeper and arcas-x for fonts, and thanks to Warner Bros. for not suing me!
Some of my fondest memories of television as a child involve the Warner Brothers cartoons. Roadrunner and Wiley Coyote was one of my favourites, and this movie emulates the comedy and style of those cartoons perfectly - LBP style! Enter as sackboy, and watch as The Collector's dastardly schemes are foiled time and time again!
It’s rare to find a self-styled “funny movie” in LBP that is not in flagrant breach of misleading advertising rules, but Sickivionkey manages to cram four into this level – each one full of charm, goofiness and genuinely laugh out loud moments. He absolutely nails the classic cartoon premise of a villain seeing his elaborate plans to do away with an innocent victim backfiring horribly (literally in some cases!) and rebounding on the perpetrator’s head. He even pulls off the Warner Bros trick of having us feel sympathy for the bumbling aggressor. Lots to enjoy here!
"How To Catch A Sackboy" is a beautifully executed take on The Looney Toons, and follows The Collector on his many schemes to catch Sackboy. However, these not so well thought of plans all end failing, and in epic proportions. Sickivionkey has mastered the hilarious and violent actions found throughout the Warner Bros. classic, and transformed them into a level that's not to miss! Any sackboy is bound to have a "smashing" good time watching this movie
Bridge Building Puzzles v1.01by
AgarwelCan you help Sackbot to reach the other side of the gap? (1 player only.) Update: Fixed the cheating bug and one other minor one in first stage.
A level that truly challenges your intelligence, without testing your patience, is a pretty rare find on LBP. Agarwel has created a really intriguing puzzle level, almost a combination of play and create modes. Create a bridge using a set amount of pieces and watch as your faithful sackbot attempts (and in my case, quite often fails) to cross it! Forever taunted by the ominous scoreboard, how many tries will it take you to solve these deliciously chellenging puzzles?
There are hundreds of puzzle levels on Little Big Planet. However, none of these that I have played have come close to the level of enjoyment, challenge, and replayability as this one offers. While making a simple bridge for a sackbot to cross in LBP may sound easy, you'll soon find how complex, thought provoking, and fun Agarwel has made it! Just be careful. Because if you download this, you may not be able to put this entertaining and addictive game down.
If you’re a fan of puzzle levels or games like Elefunk, then be sure to check out this ingenious level by Agarwel. Your plucky Sackbot’s life is in your hands as you are challenged to create a series of increasingly complex bridges to get them across a ravine in one piece...or not... *cough*. A clever concept, brilliantly executed; this level rewards those who think outside the box. So polish up your grey cells and get building!
Wooly Bullyby
ElvenbaneA paleontologically accurate re-enactment of life in the late Cenozoic. Become part of a hunting party and help one Wooly Mammoth to an early extinction! Compliant with the pseudoscientific concepts of Ancient Alien theorists!
Elvenbane has succeeded in crafting a stunning environment, which captures the essence of life in the Age of Mammals. Your quest - to prove yourself worthy of respect and earn a place in your tribe, by hunting down the legendary Wooly Mammoth. Prepare for chilly weather and get out your best hunting spear, because this series deserves your time!
I was hooked the minute I dropped into this “paleontologically accurate” world and took in the gorgeous clifftop with its cascading waterfall. We’re used to admiring Elvenbane’s levels for their visual artistry and to spotting the latest novel use he’s found for otherwise neglected decorations. With Wooly Bully, though, he pulls off some terrific gameplay too and ties the whole thing together with a quirky and light-hearted story. Highlights for me were lobbing chickens at the magnificent sabre-toothed tigers and grappling up the flanks of that enormously impressive Woolly Mammoth. Oh, and it turns out there were aliens back in the Ice Age too - explains a lot. So don your furs and join the hunting party to check it all out for yourself!
Urban Deathmatch - 2-4 Playersby
FooflesOnline Multiplayer only. Destroy the other players while evading hazards. Tap R1 to fire laser bullets, hold R1 to charge a powerful shot. You move 50% slower while charging a shot. L1 throws grenades and R2 performs a melee attack. Shields absorb damage from laser bullets and recharge automatically after not taking damage for a few seconds. Charged up shots, grenades, and melee attacks bypass the shield entirely. Grenade Kills: +50 pts to you, -50 from your victim. Laser Kills +150 pts, Melee +200 pts
Good old fashioned brawling action prevails in Foofles' Urban Deathmatch. Armed with an imposing weapon, a stock of grenades and your fluffy, stitch-busting muscles, you pit against each other for points and glory! Simple fun, in a perfectly seamless and stunning environment. Another superb addition to Foofle's ever-expanding catalogue of must-play levels!
Foofles is back with an incredible Versus level filled with high action, beautiful top down visuals, and of course, lots of guns and explosions! Armed with chargeable lasers, grenades, and a melee sword attack, who couldn't have fun battling against their online friends throughout a mechanical top down environment?
Missile Commandby
ThegideGenre: Retro Arcade. Defend those cities! Shoot down incoming missiles by strategically detonating your own. Watch your ammo supply! Controls: Square - Left; X - Center; O - Right Bonus city awarded every 10,000 points
If you enjoy classic gaming, then you won't want to miss this one. Thegide has shown his quality once more by creating a near perfect rendition of the classic. Don't miss it!!
OK, so you definitely don’t want to be an inhabitant of any city being defended by me - that much I have learnt! Total massacre of citizenry aside though, I had a blast playing this retro arcade level. Great controls, a clever scoring system and progressive difficulty make this level a joy to play. I can now totally understand the passion old-school gamers had for the original. Great to see such a fun and ingenious game so brilliantly recreated in LBP2. It’s a classic – don’t miss out on this challenging but rewarding level by Thegide.
TheGide brings forth an incredible display of good old fashioned retro gaming. From the crisp design to the challenging and rewarding gameplay, Missile Command grabbed my attention instantly. I have to agree wtih Lass though - any city that's being defended by me really does have a lot to be worried about! Fantastic fun all round - be sure not to pass this one up!
From its delightfully retro theme to the challenging, old-school gameplay, Sackbot X took me right back to the challenging platformers I adored as a child. A host of abilities and weapons are at your disposal, and intelligent use of these throughout the many stages will keep you from harm's way - Although I can't guaruntee you won't lose a few lives in the process of experimentation! Go take a look at Sir_linque's level today!
With an outstanding 8-bit soundtrack and full arsonal of weapons, Sackbot X is a beautifully hand crafted retro platformer that appears to be right out of the 80's. With a full campaign, Time Attack, and Boss Battles modes, Sir_Linque's blast from the past will will keep you entertained and in awe for hours to come!
Pinball of a better tomorrowby
StrangepomMany thanks to those who helped test this, inspired me with logic and helped bring this creation to life Morgana25, Elijah_Caine, Vortex2002,Yarudark, Aya042, rtm223, Arcade cannon and everyone else, you know who you are :)
Strangepom combines the visual themes presented in Factory of a Better Tomorrow with slick Pinball gameplay to produce this little gem. From the almost missable little details to the addictive gameplay (I mean come on, it's Pinball! Who doesn't get addicted to pinball?) you'll be sure to have a blast in this level
We really are spoilt for choice in LPB with so many great pinball levels out there and Strangepom’s take on the genre is one of the best - great controls, smooth gameplay and then all those fantastic little details which give the table such an authentic Factory of a Better Tomorrow feel. Who could resist having their ball swallowed whole by the Negativitron and bounced about in his innards to the sound of that reverberating, sardonic laugh! A must play for any pinball fan.

1S Big Air Competition by The Hoarder/Kindred_LBPC
Do you really think you can get better scores then us Platformeranians...? Let this competition begin! The second installment of Kindred is here! The Big Air Competition is a beautifully crafted level that has become one of my favorite survival challenges. Excellent design, a perfectly executed difficultly curve, amazing visuals, and a highscore you'll come back to attain all await you in this fantastic challenge.
The kindred creators bring us another masterpiece! A clever, unique concept executed in a fantastic manner. The instructions are clear, the visuals are bright and the fun is guaranteed.
Cave Escape by doggy97/doggy97
You just escaped from cave and you have spotted that earthquake have been destroyed lots of environment. Hope you can survive... The main reason why I love being on the spotlight crew? Sharing hidden gems with you. Cave Escape is a perfect example of a hidden gem. doggy97 delivers this gorgeous level that had me grinning from ear to ear. Keep an eye on this creator, he's proven himself to be very good.
Cave escape may not sound like a unique idea, but this is unlike many others of similar names. The visuals in this level stand out, but do not detract from a range of platforming and swinging. A story ties the whole experience together - one that you won't be forgetting soon.
Not another cave level, wait a minute, this is good, very good!!! Doggy97 breaks the trend on the community moon and has made one of the best cave levels ever. Fantastically made level designs with beautifully chosen materials makes this definitely "not another cave level!"
Geared Up by Fastbro/Fastbro
Dash to the top of the tower as fast as your tiny legs will carry you and make your mark on the highscore board.Fastbro is back and delivers this intense platformer. Seriously, it's as intense as camping. With the option to race up the tower, you'll find yourself sprinting as fast as possible to snag that highscore. So be sure to play this, it's an adrenaline rush you don't want to miss!
At the spotlight crew we've been Geared Up for a new Fastbro level, and he hasn't dissapointed anyone here! The premise is simple - get to the end of the level as fast as possible (although this isn't exactly new)! But with XP up for grabs you'll frantically pull levers and traverse this beautiful dungeon style level to get the highscore. Great gameplay, simple visuals and lots of bubbles and racing - perfection!
Fastbro always amazes me with his levels. Not one to be labeled, he changes his creating style and reinvents himself with every new level he makes. With Geared Up, he has made another masterpiece. With optional race gates for the high score hunter, outstanding platforming, and that one of a kind Fastbro style, this level has it all, and I can't stop playing it.
GlockenSTOP by BlackWolfe/BlackWolfe9653
How far will one sack go to turn off the music? Make your way through the LBPCentral level factory and find out! BlackWolfe does a great job presenting GlockenSTOP, which is all about stopping the pure evil of the wretched song Glockenpop. Detailed environments, a hysterical story, and fun platforming come together in this all-around excellent level.
I love Glockenpop. It won't make me many friends, but it's the best sound in LBP PSP! Alas in this level you must stop the hated music amongst strong visuals and a hilarious story. It's a great example of hard things made to look simple by blackwolfe's great logic, and you'll enjoy yourself every second.
Portal: Time of Slumber by sackboy7789/sackboy7789
An unfamiliar test subject has been hiding for a long time in Aperture Laboratories. But now, he has been apprehended and sent to go through testing chambers an unknown time later. Time of Slumber is one of the most unique levels on the community moon. Not only does it introduce a new concept, it introduces a fantastic concept that works. sackboy7789 does a great job creating Portal on the PSP, I honestly have no idea how he did it, but the important thing is that it's engaging, fun, and visually magnificent.
There are few "wow!" moments left in LBP PSP, but this portal level by Sackboy7789 provides us with a great one. The portal gun is sleek and takes some getting used to but does work remarkably well and makes for many excellent challenges. Sackboy has really bought Portal to the PSP so don't miss out!
The Unkown part 1 by himoks/johnbonbon
You wake up on a strange island where you ship has crashed and your friends are missing. You are trying to find your missing friends from the island. himoks comes back strong with what looks like to be a very promising series. The Unknown part 1 has everything that makes a level good. Phenomenal visuals, great gameplay, and an engaging story. I'm truly anxious for part 2.
This level has the full package; visuals, platforming and a lot of fun! It's all tied together with an epic tale told by himoks. Definitely an excellent level, deserved of a spotlight.
I have been a fan of Himoks for over a year now. His levels always have a polished look, and you just know he has play tested it 1000 times. In is latest, you are a castaway on an island after your ship crashes. With superb visuals, gameplay, and mind bending puzzles, Himoks has created his best level yet.... and he has made some great levels before.
