Yup which is why 3D tvs are fading away now cause theres a new tv coming out thats gonna replace 3D tvs and all others its call 4K tvs I think its working title name for it suppose to be way better.

I know was just saying I bought mines at a cheaper price I didnt pay that much for it lol and it looks good its not 3D ready on it but thats no biggy I say go for it if you want to give hdmi cable a try.
