You can say sega was ahead of the game on everything sense there the first to do downloadable games and also seganet for sega dreamcast play with anyone online with same game.

Yup it was cool it started 1994 and ended in 1998 which I'm surprise it lasted that long cause around that time it was playstation,sega saturn,and nintendo 64.

Well the sega channel was cool you have to buy cable to get it you get this be device you put it in your sega gen change the channel on your cable box to number 92 or somewhere in the 90s then turn on sega gen and you'll see sonic running and jumping on top of a sega gen and it say sega channel its a service where you can download all sega gen games and I mean all even the new ones so pretty much sega was first to do downloaded games from game system with service but downside to it it took long my cousion had this so it was awsome for its time.
