Hey Fumetsu (Heh, that part of your username reminds me of the magazine Famitsu)! How're things going for you? Haven't talked in a while. Have you been working on any LBP projects lately?
Ah okay. At least you don't have a problem with "Sackthing." To me, calling someone a "thing" was the same as calling them a "lifeless piece of property," which I couldn't see in these Sackpeople. They're living beings to me, despite being created with artificial materials and having that zipper on their chest. Even then, I created a male character just to reduce the amount of times I kept shouting, "But I'm a giiirrrllll!! D8"
Haha well the best way when making designs or even stories is to mix things together. it creates one of a kind things that are fun and had thought put in to it. Well i did not mind the word Sackthing as it's funny and don't mean male or female. but i did feel odd when they said sackboy as i could understand how'd a girl feel that moment when i think about it. plus half my costumes are female so it still was odd when they said that while i had a girl costume on xD and no problem. *mew
Hahaha, creating hybrids can be fun! I sometimes drew hybrids of different animals just to see how it would come out, but they're kinda ehh... Most of my animal drawings are extremely old now. And yeah, I agree that I didn't like it when the story characters referred to the main character as either a "Sackthing" or a "Sackboy." :\ It could be a living, breathing female Sack for all we know, but they'll still refer to her as a boy. I wonder if they'll actually change that with an update. I highly doubt it... Thanks for the friends request, by the way.
it's easy i take all my fave characters from things i like and mix them together until i like the look... to be honest no it's not that simple xD that was only part of it. it's a hard thing to say how i do it. but more or less i just mix and match different ideas until i like the look. sometimes a idea just comes out of nowhere too. like a fun way is to take something like a Bat. and mix it with something cute and a person. and see what you can come up with. *mew
Wow, since three years old?! :o I can't even remember anything I did when I was three... Those are some interesting artistic pieces though! I can tell you really like using the cell-shading technique. ^^ I've been drawing more human-like characters instead of the anthros I usually did, but I may take up on drawing more anthros once more. If you don't mind me asking, where do you normally get your ideas for your characters?
