I use a mouse, which is why I'm not good at computer drawing. I'm surprised at how good the ferret came out though! If I'm lucky, I might get a pad for X-Mas!
No, I use Painttool SAI now. (since Sumo isn't very compatible with tablets xP ) Do you draw with a mouse, or a tablet? (i can't draw from scratch with a mouse to save my life..lol)
Thanks for that, although my version on you only looks bad because it's not hand-drawn. In my sketches, I've pretty much got the head down perfeclty. Do you just draw on sumo?
Well, the head is smaller at the top than at the bottom. It kinda goes outward a little as it goes down. In order to center everything properly (and get the shape right), I sometimes draw a vertical line and horizontal line intersecting, then draw the head and features around it. Here's an example i drew just for you; the arrows show what I mean more clearly about the shape. (I hope.) Does that help? (sorry if it doesn't...i'm not very good at teaching :/)
I keep on trying! I can't get her head right!
I didn't have anything to do, so I just made the change of the head. I'm gonna make her forehead better now too, it's too big. I'm just not satisfied wiht it just yet.
You shouldn't be so hard on yourself about this; the only reason i'm any better, is because i've been drawing sackpeople longer than you have. You're not bad, you just need practice. And thank you for improving the head (though I feel it was unnecessary).
