Hi That's not a stupid question at all! I get a slightly bigger avatar because I donated to the site. That gets you a whole raft of bonus things like no ads when viewing the site and a custom title and so on. The Market has some bundles which you can use your xp to buy and one or more of these includes the right to a bigger avatar as well. You better look them up as I'm afraid I'm not too familiar with which bundle includes which goodies! Hope that helps. Lass
