Well some parents would agree with you on that point but you have to respect what you mom has said is going to happen. She may be a bit over the top but you need to understand that it's her call. I know it isn't fair and it may not even be appropriate as far as your concerned but it's still her call. Part of learning how to deal with other people in "the real world" starts by learning how to co-exist with your parents. It gets better.... at least it did for me.
