That's why pm's are so helpful Well that sucks - I'd find a high school or something with a welding program and call in a favor if I were you. Can't be worse than the original weld!
Well.. just got bad news about my chair. The company only warranties "moving" parts. Even though the weld broke showing it was completely defective. The weld broke because the rest wasn't moving!!! They never offered anything to me. When asked, they are more than willing to let me buy a new one as they still sell this chair like I would actually want to. Didn't even offer to get the parts for me at cost or act like parts were even available. Not helpful at all.. not even a offer for a discount on a new one. I haven't been this upset in some time.... I guess I will call around and find a welder and see if they can welded for me. I wish I could type the words I am thinking right now.... those are the only ones that describe my feelings right now.
