  1. The new toy - she is purchased Arrives on Monday! Cable arrives between Monday and Friday. $200 total... not too bad Thanks for the info btw - I just bought exactly what you said.
  2. I'd bet your right Hey - head over on skype a second.
  3. It is an expensive toy.. comes in quite handy though.. sometimes not so much and have to ignore the requests!

Cool! ..well... someday I hope to dream and think of those things.. lol. How much you wanna bet the code comes when I am out of town. LOL!!
  4. Ya price seemed reasonable. I figured I'd be in for around $200. Not that much in the grand scheme of things but ya, still a pricey toy. lol

So my entire commute home tonight was comprised of me trying to work out logic for a progressive payout system with a timing element in the payout.... so ya, I'm starting to scare myself. lol I think I have it worked out though. Time will tell.
  5. There is other places to get them. I just do quite a bit of my shopping at B & H because their prices are lower and fast shipping. Actually bought most of my camera gear there!
  6. ok cool I've got a query into Taffey for the software part. I think I might just have to get me a new toy Although the Hauppage thing is only available until the 22nd or I'll have to wait until Oct. 3rd.... hm... decisions, decisions.
  7. cont.. Simply put this is the best thing you can use to capture up to 1080i output from any source. LBP only goes up to 720i, so no worries!
  8. I am no mac expert, but what Taffey and Sara use and think they both have macs... not sure what kind though.

I use this Click Link However, you will also need a set of Sony PS3 Component cables Click here It is a pass through device, meaning you will have to switch your PS3 in to component mode and hook the other set of component cables included with the device to your TV and select component rather than HDMI. (only when recording that is) The device then hooks to your laptop via a USB cable. I don't think the software supplied works on a mac. That is where you might want to ask Taffey or Sara what they use for software. Again, this is the same exact device that Taffey and Sara uses as well as Chimpanzee, Cog, and Moley.
  9. Hey - when you have time - NO HURRY - if I were to purchase a video capture thingie that would work on a MacBookPro Laptop... what would I be looking to buy?
  10. I think we've all felt that way. You do what you gotta though. I get it.
