The number of days you have that average factors in. If I post 9x a day for 2 days it's less than if I post 9x a day for 15 days. Hang around awhile and check the number - it will go up if your consistent. Keep in mind though quality of posts is more important than number of posts - otherwise it's just kind of spamming.

It's how active you are on the site. How much do you post primarily. I'm not sure if surfing the site counts too - I don't think so.

We don't officially "do" anything differently from anyone else. If you post helpful stuff and try to generally be welcoming, respectful and committed to the community CC will ask if you would like distinguished status. There's a whole section explaining it in the about this site section. "7.5: Distinguished Users Distinguished users are meant to be set apart from normal members. They go above and beyond what we ask of members, they are familiar with the expectations we have here, and they can help you understand pretty much everything related to LBPCentral. These users are selected based on certain criteria: * Activity - does the user visit the site frequently? * Interactivity - does the user interact with other members and the site? * Helpfulness - does the user do his/her best to help when possible? * Respectfulness - does the user show respect to other members? * Humbleness - will the user be humble about his/her status? Overall, if we feel you meet those criteria, we may approach you about becoming Distinguished. Don't come to us, we'll come to you." But yea - that's about it
