It's normal techtonic activiy though Joey - there are 100's of earthquakes every day on the earth. Some are just bigger than others. We've had a few in a row but it's not really unusual. You'll be fine
yeah luckily it wont hit PR.. but now.. seens there have been so many earthquakes.. first Haiti 7.3.. then japan 7.0.. now Chile 8.8.. and next idk but they say it will be arround here ah ill PM this 1 sec
They don't know the size - the one that hit in the 60's was 54 feet I think. It's best to just get to higher ground and hope for the best - not much else they can do.
well my friend from hawaii told me that they told them that the wave was 54 feets and strong.. it used to be 9 feets!
yea, that reef is totally exposed now. I've been watching for about 15 minutes and that reef was covered 10 minutes ago! Hope it isn't too bad but it is frightening.
