cool I went to school for mine. I've got a BA in Graphic Design. Art History minor. Trouble is keeping up on all the newest programs and techniques.
That's awesome! Here at the winery, they give me a lot of freedom. They have wines labels out that have been my idea completely. I actually didn't go to school for this, I kinda learned it by myself. At first, I was behind the tasting bar, and now I'm pretty much doing most of the marketing
That sounds cool. Lots of places here don't have their own staff for design. They get agencies to do their stuff. I didn't set out to do newspaper but it's been a steady job and I like the work. Nothing too edgy or high end so I can slack a bit. Also some of my clients give me pretty much creative freedom and that's a rarity in design.

Mostly advertising. Newspaper specifically. I do promotional materials, covers, brochures, sales sheets, the occasional web ad. Mostly print.

InDesign & Photoshop CS3 right now. We're thinking of upgrading but money ya know.
