  1. Ok, cool!

Well, I think anyone who's loved the game and leaves, will eventually come back and dabble at some point. It's hard to completely kick the habit, I'd reckon, as the creative scope is so large. Time is what's needed, so you never really know. Hang in there
  2. yea, I'll be on a lot tonight - at least another 4-6 hours. Raincheck it is

Yea, he's giving up the game completely. Shame - he's one of the greats, even if the rest of the community didn't fully appreciate that.
  3. Aw.. crap.. I'm about to head off to playgroup for my toddler! I might be on later if I can get her down at a reasonable time. Can I take a raincheck and see if I can catch you later?
Is Zwollie giving up on LBP as a whole? That's really too bad. As I said to him, he's a big part of the personality of the place Life's a mongrel sometimes.
  4. oh that's right! I'm sorry - I did forget. Are you on LBP now? I'll give you a personal tour

Yea, I'm heartbroken about Zwol. He's really my best buddy online and I'm going to miss him terribly.
  5. Hi there Morgana This is not to put any pressure on you, but just a friendly reminder that I'm still keen to see any detailed pics of your dragon (remember?) I check in on the level thread now and then to see if they're up. If you're too busy, that's cool - you can just tell me to suck it up. I know how it is to be busy. Also, very sorry to hear about Zwollie leaving. I know you guys are good friends I don't like change either. Alas, it always finds me.
  6. cool - good to know. I'll have to check that out as well
  7. If you're looking for inexpensive music downloads, my sister put me onto www.mp3va.com. The files are mp3 but play perfectly on iPods, etc and it's all legit (I don't download music without paying for it). 1 song costs 15c and you can pick up albums for $1-50-$3.00. I know they have some of those songs, but not all.

Edit - if you do check out the site, the files that give you listenable 'bites' of each song sound like they're in mono, but the downloadable files are all perfect. Just thought I'd warn you as I freaked out the first time.
  8. Cool I'll have to check out itunes and see if they're available. ScoutsBoo turned me on to Evanesce so there's a good chance I'll love some of those Thanks!
  9. A good combo indeed! I've just been working on a little compilation CD for a couple of my LBPC pals and can recommend to you the following numbers from Aussie bands (if you're ever looking for new sounds that incorporate those 3 elements well) -
Rogue Traders - "I Never Liked You", "In Love Again" and "Watching You" for a sampling of their repertoire... also The Potbelleez - "Don't Hold Back", The Presets - "A New Sky" and 'My People" or even "This Boy's In Love", Pendulum (indi band) - "The Other Side", and the fabbo Sneaky Sound System - "Goodbye", "UFO", "Pictures", etc. I know this is completely unsolicited but have been listening to them a lot in the last couple of days and forgot how much I liked them and want to do my bit for the Aus music industry, you know Cheers!
  10. lol - yea my musical tastes are pretty eclectic. Strong beats, bass and a little electricity are always a good combo for me.
