  1. Sorry, Morgana.. I left the computer logged on I've been good thanks . Busy with birthdays and end-of year socialising (erk... already!!). There were 5 things I was supposed to be at on Friday night, it's just unreal - and won't let up until after Christmas.

How about you? Did you enjoy your break from work? Are you completely recovered from that nasty bout of whatever it was? how are you enjoying the beta? I've barely been able to scratch the surface, simply due to time constraints

Yes it has been quiet here, especially with Inan away for a couple of weeks. As I've said before, it may just be the lull before the storm Lol!
  2. Awfully quiet around here tonight How ya been?
  3. lol ya Mordred and I have met too funny. Ya, I'm on an upswing today. Just really needed some sleep and some stress free hours so I stayed home today. Hopefully I'll be better by tomorrow.
  4. Hoping the crud is slowly dissipating for you Yes, the all powerful dollar makes slaves of even the sickest of us
Lol.. I see you've met your opposite/nemesis below.. heheh
I need to work up a Halloween avatar...
  5. Still feeling like crud but I'm back to work. No rest for the gainfully employed 'eh? lol. 26 hours? That's gotta be a record. Then again some of the biggest troublemakers aren't here for the moment.
  6. Yes, it is quiet. Over the weekend we went about 26 hours or so without a reported post! And then that LBP3 thread erupted so yeah... it's always calm before a storm But that's okay cause it's only 4.51pm here.

How are you feeling? Those drugs doing their job?
  7. Working the "midnight" shift all alone again 'eh? Bots beware! How's things? It's too quiet around here.
  8. Ya they've canceled the Space Shuttle Program. Initially they were putting money into the Constellation program which was an Apollo like capsule called Orion that would be launched on an Aeris rocket but now that's sort of ify given the funding from Congress. Actually the US space program is kind of a mess.

    That Seus thing looks cool!
  9. Sounds fantastic! Showing my naivety here, but why is it the second to last? Are they stopping the space program in some areas?
As for your parents, if they're as creative as you are, they'd probably find lots to occupy them at Islands of Adventure (where WWoHP is located). It's magnificently done, especially Seuss Landing which I think is the most gorgeous part of the park (but I was there pre-HP, so I'm sure that might change). You should check it out online, then you won't care if you're there on your lonesome or how weird it might seem. I went with just my mum (in my mid 30s) who never goes on any rides, so I did them all myself and had a ball.

edit: Check some of this out... Seuss Landing (taken by moi)

  10. To view the launch doesn't cost anything. You can see ir for miles and miles from down there. Lights up the sky like it's noon if it's a night lauch It's the second to the last shuttle launch so I only have this chance and one other to see it in my lifetime.

If we do go, I think I'd love to go the Harry Potter park. I'd have my parents in tow... well, maybe I can ditch them at another attraction and go by myself. Although a 36 year old alone there might be a little... idk, weird. lol
