I bought one of those Happague HD video capture things for PS3 videos and was wondering if you can directly import the mp4 stuff from that into imovie without another conversion. I'm using a MacBookPro laptop.
Hey Morgana! If you mean record directly within iMovie, then yes you can! Not sure exactly how, and I can't check just yet because it refuses to open... I'll try and update it now. Generally, I use premiere pro to edit, because even though iMovie gives brilliant results, it's rather limited... Or did you mean uploading directly from your camera? Although it depends on what format the video file is in, you generally can. With most cameras, you can upload directly from it. According to the Apple website, you can do this from almost any camera from tape camcorders to Flip Mini cameras! Hope that helped
Hi there Taffey tells me you edit video using a mac and I wanted to ask you if you can import captured video right to imovie or do you use a piece of software to convert it so it's importable to imovie?
