  1. yeah i dunno now whether what i suggested will turn out really expensive :S Oh well, sleepies for me now i think. 2.30 am *yawn*
  2. might need a monitor, got a hp... but I'll see. I unno, I kinda am confuzzled ;______; ah well /runs
  3. Hmmm just remembered you'll probably need a moniter too then? Gotta take that into price account too. Also I'm guessing you'll do the easiest thing of getting a fully built and configured complete PC of a website. I got it off of one where i could choose exactly what parts I wanted and stuff. Is a UK site... but ended up cheaper for what i got than say the dell website.
  4. um... I unno specific computer sellers, I just know the basic ebay, amazon, and stuff... You could look through there. Or check compusa, that came up first on google, not sure if it;'s good or not. :P
  5. alright... well since you're getting a desktop and not looking for a particularly hugely powerful system, but can still run a lot at a great price I'd say definatly go for a dual core processor... 2.6 to 3.0 would be sweet if you can afford. 2GB RAM would be fine. And if you could get maybe an ATI 1GB 4850 that would run pretty much everything you could want. Do you have any US websites i can wonder through that are good for buying PCs?
  6. The game? Runesofmagic lol... <_> It ahs player housing, dangit

    Anyway... price limit... Well, I don't really know persay. I'll need to talk to my folks bout that actually, don't have money right now persay. I want a pc that can run that comfortably, and is as cheap as possible ;-;

and desktop is probably better, I never liked the touchpad and built in keyboards on laptops... so desktop ;o
  7. What game is it?
Okay, so if you want more bang for your buck, desktop is the way to go. I've still got my old laptop for portable reasons (though the laptop literally can't survive 30 seconds without powerlead connected lol) for portable reasons, and my desktop for my gaming and everything else.
Looking at those specs, a pretty cheap desktop could run that... but first... what's your price limit?
  8. Well yeah I meant new.

Hm... either one is ok with me, can't see much difference personally.

Also... just so we're clear, a game I'll want will require

Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz or equivalent
    RAM: 512MB or more
    HDD 3.62GB

    at least. Yep
  9. The chat is being lame. Let's converse here.
You want to upgrade you said.. then you mentioned laptop and some specs. Are you wanting to upgrade your current laptop? If so: don't. Simple answer, but upgrading laptops is nigh impossible.
If you meant you want a new PC... laptop or desktop?
  10. The Project Chaos one. To be honest you might as well just wait till the full one comes out with water, I've already started planning on how it's going to work. But the beta level can actually be fully played through like the final one, it just has 2 paths at one point and I still haven't done the second path.
