  1. Yeah, I know. Was just being stupid, like always
  2. The positive change agent thing? Well, I try and make a positive impact on the forums, both in terms of obvious stuff like being nice to people and helping them change in a good way, to behind the scenes stuff like trying to help the moderation team be, well, moderate.

You might be asking the wrong person about diapers though. As a Nurse I would take the incontinence issue as a serious one. To be someone of your age it is rare to find people wearing diapers, but that does not mean it does not happen.

But something tells me that's not what you meant...
  3. Hm... change, eh?

... you mind changing my diapers? :O
  4. I'll have to go and have a look at it. I'm still on the front page stuff as there was a long post in the wrong spot. I needed to move it to the right area and explain it all to the new user. Moderating is tough work. <_<;

I'll jump down to the help page though. But since Code and Forsaken have stepped down and I've been changing some of my own general life habits, it's hard to keep up with the forums. I've got 100% activity and still only read about 1/5th of the content.
  5. Well, as for the writing contest... Meh, I guess I had no idea what I was doing, I just did it because Code convinced me to and I had no idea what to do really :/. So yeah, giving it to someone else would probably be better XD.

But now I'd have to completely change my LBPC story since Forsaken and Code aren't mods no more >_<. Great...

And, um, yeah... Also, I would like to advertise my thread in help to you because, well, I want someone to help on it :/. It's changing magic mouths.
  6. I have unlocked the story thread of yours. You should be able to repost to it now.

In regards to getting tired of LBP, that's entirely understandable. I myself have grown a bit tired of it. I'm in another "creators block". I know the next step I have to do on the level I am creating, but faced a pretty bad set back when I was last working on it. I've got a theory on how to work around the problem, it's just I have to build up the courage (and time) to sit down and try and get everything working again.

I always build hypercomplex stuff which has many stages of things happening, and thus it can (and often is) filled with bugs and setbacks. That's what you get for pushing the engine as far as it will go.

I really should just knuckle down and try again though. I know I haven't given up on LBP by any means, I just need to take a break every now and then so I can come back to it without burning myself out. The challenge is to balance resting with procrastination, which is not an easy thing to do.

Anyway, it's good to see you back wandering around the forums again. I know your LBPCentral story is quite popular and it seems many people were missing it, as well as just your input in general.

Speaking of stories, we have that writing contest still on the site but it's kind of been in limbo since your break. Do you plan to pick up that role again or would like to officially pass it on? We never really did quite work out what to do with it.
  7. Well, I didn't read your well thought out thing from several weeks ago, but I mostly left because I didn't like LBP :/. However, a certain whaaaaale made me like it or something, so here I am again :/. Yep.

Anywho, seeing as how I'm back, and finally responded to your thing about why I left (not because this wasn't ENOUGH about LBP, more because I was growing tired of it and stuff), uh... Yeah, I'm also asking if you could unlock my story thread.
  8. What's happening Rock? From what I can work out, it seems that you are moving on from the forums because we are doing too much general stuff and not enough LBP stuff... I haven't been able to keep up with your LBPC story as I'm too busy moderating.

The individual forum with the most topics is General Chat, yes, but if you combine Level Showcase and Object Showcase you actually get more topics than that.

The ones with the most posts are in the General sections, yes, but I'm pretty sure if you combined all the general posts vs the LBP posts, you would get a ratio of...lets see, at the time of writing...
    General section threads: 2452.
    General section posts: 57,027.
All other sections (excluding top secret access stuff :P) threads: 4623
    All other section posts: 60,765.

Hmmm... the ratio of threads LBP to general is about 2:1; but the ratio of posts is roughly 1:1.

Now this is excluding stuff like the now vanished archieves, which did have Spam Can but also had all the stuff about the Beta as well. It's also excluding the sections that most users can't see. The moderator stuff you could put in general, as it's talking about the site rather than the game, but the Site Filmers and Spotlight sections are certainly talking about LBP. Unfortunately I (don't think I can) give out numbers for those bits as they are not public access, but I was aware of their existance even before being a moderator.

Hmmm... I guess there is a lot of general stuff going about, but that's ignoring the whole lot of talk that goes on about LBP.

I use to pretty much stick to the LBP stuff and only occassionaly visit the general section before I was made a moderator, but I've got to visit general a whole lot more as more mucking up goes on there. I'm still far more active though on the LBP side of things, and that's how I prefer it to be. I like this forum because of the LBP stuff. It allows me to talk to other creators about the good game we have found.

Essentially what I'm saying is that a person on these forums does what they feel comfortable with. You don't have to spend all day in the general section, I usually get a headache when I moderate the Spam Can, I don't know how Code can keep up with it, but I sure am glad he does though... but then I really enjoy reading all the LBP discussions, and enjoy those section much more.

Basically what I'm saying is a much longer version of what I said before in the public conversation. You are a good person, and you do contribute positively, whether that be about general things or LBP issues.

I don't know if you will ever read this, but I hope you have a nice break from the forums and then come back refreshed and focus on the main thing, that being about chatting about LBP.
  9. Aw, thanks. *sniff* I feel so loved...
  10. I just wanted to say that you certainly are being a positive user. It's good to see your input in all the various places around the forums.
