hey just wanted to let you know i read chapter 1. i like where you're taking it, the world and history you're developing and it seems like you're more comfortable with dialogue and writing. this part was really well characterized - "My name is Kal Ahkbar... and I am the last servant of the house of Sauron." Dave immediately turned toward this strange man. "The house of Arynn, the traitor?" "Is that what you think of them?" Kal smirked. "He abandoned his country and settled in Karakon," Dave spat. "That was hundereds of years ago!" Kal shook his head. "We are allies now- or we are supposed to be, anyway," Kal sighed as he rested his hands on the guard rails, staring at the sky. "Sometimes I wonder... but at any rate, I have come here to speak to you about the son of Sauron." almost reminded me of the type of historical allusion you'd see in FF Tactics between characters.
