Just finished. Final play time 34:06. I had a rough time with it in the beginning - I've never had a harder time liking the characters than I did in the first half of this game, but they managed to sway me right after Akzeriuth. Really, really enjoyed it. I'd rank it below Vesperia, above Legendia, and on similar ground with Symphonia. Contemplating a second run through to hit the abyss replica factory... Either that, or move on to Graces

Just made my way out of the marsh where that behemoth stalks you throughout. In that big battle with the supposedly unstoppable behemoth, the one where you're supposed to run away, I decided to see if I could take it down. I spent most of the battle running circles around the arena to draw it's attention, ended up using most of my gels and life bottles, but I eventually beat it... Only to find out that the game really didn't want you to beat it. I got a grand total of 0 Gald and 0 Exp for the win... ...
Well, how many hours have you put in? I believe that getting to Akzeriuth normally takes about 12 hours, so you should be at 15 or 16 hours. And blowing through the story and not doing anything else should take about 40 to 50 hours. Anyway, so how are you liking the story?
