  1. nope, I've been working hard on it ever since I first started it. I'm currently working on the last part of the level. Then I have to go back in and finish all the puzzles and make stuff look nice. Hopefully by then there will be a water release date! I currently have about 30 "making of" pictures so far... and the thermometer is about 55% full. Unfortunately I'm not willing to release any real pics yet, but hopefully there will be a few more teaser pics before it's published.

Also, if you're willing, I'll be sure to let you in on the testing of the level when it's ready.

Are you currently working on anything? I can't remember?
  2. well i still didn't realize it was made for a console lol. So with your age, have you stopped working, or are you filling in everything but the water? Just curious.
  3. oh boy I checked my Riven game.. yeah.. it's for PS1. Sorry.. my bad. but yeah, still 5 discs!
  4. It was really 5 discs for the PS2 too!?! Thats lame! I can understand it for PC, but not for the PS2. it just seems wierd to have to eject a disk for a console game.
  5. nice.. yeah who knows. that marble puzzle was ridiculous

lol... it was 5 disc's for PS2!! Really annoying. I'm glad I bought the Myst 10th Anniversary because it has Myst Masterpiece, Riven, and Myst III exile all on one dvd each. I'm sad to say that I haven't complete Myst IV .. I'm about 3 pages away from the end, according to the strategy guide. I need to finish that and go on to Myst V .. but LBP has basically consumed my video gaming life for the past year
  6. Oh, i know that they have randomized puzzles, the guardian thing in Revelations is random for one, didn't realize the note sequence was too. I was just saying that the marble one wasn't, or i happened to get the same puzzle as there was an answer to haha. I didn't realize they made Riven for the PS2... quite possible there was a difference there, as i imagine they had to redo it a bit to get it to work on the PS2. No more "insert disk 3" ;p
  7. hmm.. it was supposed to! I had the PS2 version at the time - maybe that made a difference?

Maybe the Marble Puzzle was the same each time (I still couldn't get it in my second play through), but at least some puzzles were different each time. Check this out: "It is extremely important to solving Catherine's Prison Door lock to free Catherine. This noise is unique each game therefore if you did not memorize this noise the first time you will need to restore an old saved game to hear the noise in Gehn's room." Source You can find that line under the Marble Puzzle solution. Not arguing with you.. just saying!
  8. really? i'm pretty sure it doesn't change. I use the universal hint system for cheats (i love it because it only gives little hints at a time, so you don't just get the answer straight) and they have a map for the marbles.
  9. Yeah, and the crazy thing was you could only find out how to get the answer, rather than what exactly the answer was... because apparently every time you played through Riven the answer was different. In fact, I couldn't get past the marble puzzle on my second play through for this reason I did everything I was supposed to do, even took notes, but couldn't get it. I got it the first time after hours of clicking back and forth to locations... so you'd think I'd be able to get it the second time? nope!
  10. ahhhhh. I havent read the books. I actually didn't realize there were books until very recently

Haha, yeah, that marble puzzle is pretty ludicrous. That was a point in the game where i was like... forget it, i'm just going to get the answer haha. Sooo much... mapping >.<
