You're the first person who's asked why I deleted them. It's kind of flattering--most people don't seem to notice/care. The one time we hung out, you went off yelling (or you know... typing in all caps) about how much it sucked that you couldn't get into the beta and I think you even said something like "I hate Mm," in there (if I'm not mixing it up with something somebody else said). It's not that I'm in love with/defensive of Mm (though I do have more respect for them than any other devs), but it just seemed kind of immature and irritating to me, and I'm sure it was awkward for Tanrockstan, who was just saying how excited he was to get in, to hear you going off about how you couldn't get in.
Excuse me 7 I'm not trying to pester you but could I enquire to the reasons behind my deletion?
I wouldn't say outburst. It's difficult to really gauge people's meanings through text. I started out playfully teasing her for calling herself an expert (I would tease anybody who calls themself an expert at a video game--even Jackofcourse if he did it), but the playfulness and teasing didn't seem to translate very well, and I just came across as obnoxious. Then she started name-calling, and for some reason I just couldn't let it lie there. Guess I should work on taking my own advice. I never wear a nice mask: I say what I think. I try to be tactful, and if what I think is negative and not constructive at all, I try to avoid saying anything. I suppose that, like most people, once I've expressed an opinion, I feel the need to defend it... for some reason (mostly I don't care what people think of my opinions...or so I tell myself). My nice mask comments were just me being snarky: I said them to mock Silverleon, not agree with him...but that probably got lost in translation too.
I saw your outburst, are you ok? How ironic is it that the roles have totally switched, it was only 3 months or so ago when you were advising me to keep my nice mask on hope your ok
Yeah, I've run into that too. I never encountered it until after I published, but that's not so surprising since the level I built it in had more even terrain (like the ground was either level, or a straight edged hill rather than the more rounded natural looking terrain in the final level) and was quite a bit shorter. It may also have something to do with piston sag that you get after capturing an object (I captured it from the earlier level and placed it into the newer one). That last bit hadn't occurred to me until just now: I'll have to try replacing the pistons and see if that helps. And what's more, it's not even a good jet!
I ran into some teething troubles with your mech this afternoon, as in *mumbles* both the legs got sheared off and it became a jet...
I hadn't thought to try the chest, but it makes sense. There's also thock on the mug from potc and the teacup. I doubt any of them can be extracted but I'll have to try it sometime anyway.
YOu probably already being the might Sehven, but there Is Thock on the Potc chest, non removable of course but...
