  1. I will see if she will send you a PM either here or on PSN. There is a ton of stuff going on for her lately that has her really down.

Take care and thanks for your concern.
  2. yea, she said she would keep in touch through twitter, but then she deleted her account
  3. She's taking a break from LBP. Might be a few weeks, might be a few months. Just not sure.
  4. Jww, what happened to C?
  5. Yup.. so far so good! I've sold quite a few as well.
  6. Thats way too cold for me :o
Im used to it being in the 90's, maybe 80's.
I'm too southern to handle the cold

Hopefully you got some good shots for your trouble xD
  7. lol... it was a bit difficult to deal with at times! The worst part was the original forecast was "supposed to be" wonderful weather, sunny in the mid to high 60's the whole time. It was lucky to hit 48 that first race day on Friday. I usually get really hot moving around and shooting so the first day I just wore a tshirt, lightweight jacket and had my photo vest on. Stupid.. Out in the wind I was freezing my butt off.. It started raining a bit later that morning so I decided to leave my rain coat on with my jacket as a wind break. I guess it helped a bit.. but I was still really cold.

Next day I was a bit more prepared and had a hooded sweat shirt on as well, but I was still a bit cold so I decided to wear my mechanix gloves as the cameras were so cold to hang on to the whole morning.

I've done this event quite a few years now and that was the coldest one ever..
  8. oh..well when you put it THAT way, yea that'd be hard xD
  9. Wow.. that would be pretty intense

However my problem was it was gusty to steady winds while attempting to photograph cars flying by at up to 180mph getting a clear steady shot using a lens large enough to act as a rudder on a small boat. I could EASILY stand there... much harder trying to keep the lens from blowing around like a wind sock.
  10. Sounds like you need to get your wind legs, or..cajun legs? xD
Hurrican Gustav had 150mph gusts and I was outside standing in it, no problem.
You get used to standing in the wind after a while
