  1. Ha.. well I aim very high with my levels. LBP2 is the cheapest and easiest way for me to get my crazy concepts made. The thing is.. they usually end up being too complex and elaborate for LBP and sometimes it ruins the fun factor of them. Since they are like that, I try to get more experienced creators to check them out and since several of the experienced creators are "popular", they rarely respond. For the ones who do they usually really like them and end up adding me as a friend, because I guess they see my talent or potential... I always say I have a level in a HUB of a Mm pick and a song in another Mm pick level as with quite a few reviews from well know creators.
I feel like that's a good "portfolio" lol, but it still doesn't spark any interest for other creators So I've been begging people for plays for quite a while.
  2. Feel free to call me jww! Photos is just because in real life I do sports photography and jwwPhotos is the name of my domain. jwwphotos.com

To clarify a bit, the interviewer listed on each of the spotlights actually wrote the piece, although I did have quite a bit of input and suggestions since I ultimately ended up leading the entire project and team. Please have a look at the videos as I think you will find them quite entertaining as well as informative. I am pretty proud of what we accomplished.

Until then, take care and keep on creating. I realize more than anyone it is rough out there to gain any ground, but the more you impress those here on LBPC the better. I think it important to have a helpful network of friends, especially if they in turn are awesome at what they do. The notice of your talent spreads exponentially the more folks you know as well as the information gained from them in making your creations better and better.

Best of luck! ..and stay tuned!
  3. Hi Mr. Photos, thanks for your comment. I had no idea all that work was predominately done by only one person, and I can't say I'm surprised that it was you doing it The interviews were my favorite part, I haven't gotten around to watching all the videos but the commentary was a great touch XD
I totally understand that you're busy and it was actually nice to hear that you want to make a new level.
I completely praise anyone with a busy life and responsibilities and the fact that you and a few others do so much for the community while having all that already going on is motivating and so sincere.

Thanks for doing what you did and I hope to see more from you both level wise, as well as interesting articles here
  4. Saw your post about the Creator Spotlights and sorry to hear I disappointed you. As you hopefully read, no one ever realized how much work all that was. After a year or so doing them and me doing most of the work, I needed a break to get my life back in order as it was taking all my time. I will start them up again at some point, just need to get my life squared away again.

I see you are having your own issues with creating. Seems to be a common theme. I spent most of my time doing spotlights where others had tons of time to create levels. Not that I didn't like what I was doing, but I wanted to actually enjoy when LBP2 came out and create a level. That was that pinball level you played not long ago. ...and appreciate your thoughts on that. Glad you enjoyed. I have several other things I would like to do, but finding time with having a new house and new responsibilities of being a home owner come first these days. ...ahhh well..

    All the best!
