  1. Awwww... sorry to hear that.

I am doing a bit better, but allergies are really killing me this year. I may have to shop around and try some things this time. Bleah...
  2. I'm home sick from work. Still feeling like crud. Oh well, nothing to do but drink liquids and stay warm I think. The upside is it's not taxing to pick up a controller
  3. How you dooin? Hope better than yesterday!!!

I might be on here in a bit. I need to think up a new caption contest set. ...almost driving me nuts these days with all the other stuff I am doing. Really need to get several done to earn a break!! lol
  4. Dang... sorry to hear that. Hope you start feeling better!!!

    Thanks for the info!
  5. Well if you get it I think you'll like it. I was a die hard Quark backer and went kicking and screaming to InDesign, now I love it.

Not feeling so good today. Might duck out of work if they let me. Somedays I just hate "my situation" medically and today would be one of those days..... *sigh*
  6. Hmmm... it really did look interesting. Sorta like MS Publisher on steroids and some great features.

I use Fireworks quite a bit as you know, but on more document oriented stuff it is a bit of a pain to get it to behave nicely. I also liked how it said with InDesign the fonts and such are editable when moving it into Flash. Fireworks and Flash haven never played together quite that seamlessly even though they were both Macromedia products to begin with. Flash typically had better support like that from Freehand which I have never ever figured out how to use very well. It works totally backwards from Fireworks and kind of a pain. Some things I have used it quite well for, but others wow... I have scars...

This looks like a cool new toy indeed! So I am leaning towards the Web Premium Suite this time around which would get me InDesign as well as finally get Acrobat again.
  7. LOL yea it was great last night.... except for the breaking noises and pesky corner editor. lol I gotta let it set tonight and make with the level playing.

I use InDesign every day. It's comparable to Quark XPress but it does so much more and handles fonts so much better. If you have a lot of text to manage there's nothing better but for web stuff I don't know how much use you'd get out of it.
  8. Hey there! How ya doin! I am doing much much better. Still a little congested, but nothing too terrible. Almost human again!! woo hoo!

Hey.. have you ever used Adobe InDesign. I am weighing my options on pre orders of CS5 suites and didn't recognize this addition to one of the suites.

It was fun last night! Raaaawr! lol
  9. Yeah.. So far Springtime hates me. Feeling a bit better, but still don't feel great. Might just be from being so groggy with all the extra sleep.

Really needed to get busy today on stuff too, so I might be at it this evening to catch up.
  10. Oh noes! Yea, it's always something. Sorry to hear. Hope the bed time helped
