  1. Howdy!! How's it going?! It got really really warm today!
  2. Hmmm.. so you mean by swinging up on that top wall again like you had. That might work. I guess I was mostly concerned it being over quickly.
  3. Well, theoretically if they don't get fried on the fire it would be one time but if they get fried it would be multiple times of trudging up the ramp to the sponge in this arrangement. I could have multiple symbols but that starts to get tricky again. Or I could limit how often the grabby thing was reachable but that's sort of unfair as it slowly resets.... hm... more to think about.
  4. Hmmmm Possibly! They do this once or a few times?
  5. ok - been thinking about it and how about this. Fight your way past the fire, go up the ramp, jump some fire pits, grab a sponge that lowers one of those symbols from the puzzle area down into the space behind the temple (back row) and while your holding it the dragon keeps sending off fire that while it's technically in the front row it would send up firey bits from a fire pit below the player. Like the dragon is stoking the fire or something. Player would need to swing down to avoid the fire for a few seconds then re grab it to keep the symbol from raising up again.... sound cool?
  6. hmmm.... I'm trying to figure out what would make sense for the story that would work for your scenario. I like the idea you have about placement and what they'd need to do... just trying to figure out what I'd use. Like you have to move a statue into position or lower something down into place... trouble with that is can I get the wiring to do what I want. lol
  7. * part 2 *

    What might be cool is that you could have it so that once they release that grabby (maybe one of those corn thingys) either by death or by jumping down, that goal indicator goes backwards slowly. So the goal is not only doing it so many times, but quickly getting there to keep building on your progression towards the goal. The slower you are, the more times you need to repeat the tasks.
  8. Yeah.. I was kinda wondering about all of that too. I think you are smart to take your time and get it correct.

    I still feel having the main task up above your spawn point might work better. (no swingy to the top) It isn't partially hiding behind the dragon and you can more easily drop or give them an easy path down for round the next round.

    Maybe up above either totally or just above the spawn point there is constantly stuff dropping making it impossible to get there such as fire or boulders constantly raining down. As you get up the ramp, maybe you trip something via a grabby or it just disables the falling debris for a bit. This in turn giving you so many seconds to make it across the spikes to the main task that advances a goal indicator. The longer you hold it, the more it advances. At the same time you need to be mindful of the rain of death coming and so to avoid, they jump down the hole to start the process over or end up dying which gives them the same result.

    * continued *
  9. Well, yes and no. I built a bunch more only to discover I don't know if I like it. lol. I guess I'm going to stew on it for a few days. Shoot for a release next week then.
  10. Howdy! Hope you got a bit further on your beneviolent boss. lol
