lol !! Yeah... silly stuff that keeps us motivated to try hard to figure it all out and get it working! Someone had a thread on Thermo asking how everyone could possibly ever fill it and that their full size long level only had one full notch taken up. They should visit one of us sometime... nah.. they would faint.
Oh c'mon - your doors aren't silly. lol They rock! Besides we all have our little pet projects. Mine tend to involve stuff I've never done before you know, like wiring up cutscenes or variable speed dual track boss battles.
Oh yeah... I think working out my game play elements always take me the longest. ...second place probably my fascination lately with silly doors and such.
Yea, it's coming along. Mostly because I'm getting some help. KernelM, Joey & SLS10 were in there yesterday with me. Kernel's really good at following directions too. I roughed in the underground bit and he fine tuned it and even added lights. lol. Gutsy adding lights to MY level but he did good SLS10's enemies are excellent I just have to figure out where and if I can use them. Besides the gameplay part is what takes me the longest. The look is easy the play is hard.
Ahhh... not too bad then. Really liked what I saw (and could remember) on your new level! Incredible progress! I am attempting to figure out how to use VidoeWave. not as intuitive as I would have hoped. I can make a video no problem (importing and converting to mp3 with some titles), but I was hoping to make a trailer as well and some parts aren't making sense. Dang.. I might have to actually read the help on it!!!?!?!? ACK!!
Runny nose but otherwise pretty ok. A little burned at work but so far it's manageable.
